Re: Out and About -- In the World at Large

Her attitude to my skirts continues to soften.
That's good news, Alastair.

Re: Disadvantages of Different Kinds of Skirts

I have a short denim skirt that I like to use when out walking. Last night was very hot, and I decided to wear it to go to an open air show in town. Surprisingly, I found a free seat ... and discovered the disadvantage of too short a skirt. Sitting in the heat waiting for the show ot begin, my bare ...

Re: Skirtcraft Aqueous Skirt - Feedback?

{{{Skip the quote - message to Couya}}} Martin That avatar of yours intrigues me - that light sort of pastel colored tartan kilt or mini-kilted skirt. Is there more to it ? What tartan clan ? Kinloch Anderson's own tartan, lightweight kilt, worn very frequently over 12 years and going threadbare in...

Thank you, Moon. Yes, I am I sure I would have looked adorable dressed like that 60 years ago !

Referring to the thread title :
What about "neutrally neutral"? I think that would sum me up quite nicely.

But you never see any kilts in Scotland, so how can we know what they wear there?

Re: Skirtcraft Aqueous Skirt - Feedback?

.Sadly, unless you offer a SMALLER size, I Still can't be a customer. 28-30 waist here. RG Finding clothing that fits has always been a problem for me, and as obesity becomes the norm, it will be harder still to find small sizes. I have been wondering whether I should try to fatten up, but I don't ...

Re: Skirtcraft Aqueous Skirt - Feedback?

There is an organization, not sure where it is based, which encourages men to wear a school dress to collect funds with the aim of getting girls in third-world countries into education (probably the most important way of modernizing society and getting rid of ancient prejudices). It is as good an id...

Re: (Good) Comments are king.

Positive remarks for my tartan kilts -- occasionally. Remarks about my skirts -- so rare as to be forgotten. In fact the only person to have spoken about my non-tartan skirts, was a lady friend who made it quite plain she did not approve. I could point out that I have never made remarks myself, face...

Nothing there that I would wear.
In fact, not even women wear things like that these days !

Re: Skirtcraft Aqueous Skirt - Feedback?

I'll have to join the general rejection of the back zip, while adding that I'm not keen on zips anyway. Although I own and occasionally wear some zip-up skirts (front or side closure), I find it awkward to get my other clothing to fit smoothly inside the skirt, and by far prefer something that wraps...

Well, it might improve performance, but I think Apple stays one ahead of any remedy we might think of.

Re: Another one for the Books

How you managed to post such an enormous photo escapes me. Unfortunately most of the subject was cut off. Martin ps : take that back. My computer has been running very badly since going on to Apple's latest OS they call Sierra, and it did not accommodate the pic. By reducing the font size, I managed...

Re: Where have so many members gone

So far no problems for me, although all the school girls around here wear tartan kilts. The only difference is that mine are slightly longer. I do however feel a little annoyed at seeing these kilts worn by the other sex.

I always go first to "View new posts", which gives a list of active topics, naming both the instigator and the most recent contributor.
The trouble is you have to be a very deft mouse/pad handler to click accurately on the tiny rectangle designed to take you to the most recent post.

Re: National Coming Out Day

"Coming out" sounds like confessing about something you were ashamed of doing.
I've never had to own up to wearing unbifurcated garments, because I have never been ashamed of them.
