Re: I wore an outright skirt to work today
Some years ago I worked in a music store as an electronics tech. I fixed pretty much anything music related - guitar/bass amps, effects, PA and recording gear, organs, synths, and other assorted electronic instruments and accessories, and even electric guitars & basses if the problem was primari...

Re: For the Audiophiles of the Cafe'
Pretty impressive, especially combined with the "El Pipe-o" subs. Fun to imagine and read about, but I've nowhere to put anything like that.

Brazilian Students Skirt Around Discriminatory Dress Code
Maria Muniz, a 17-year-old student in Rio de Janeiro wore a skirt to school, which is typically not a problem, except that Maria is transgendered. According to her school’s dress code, a “male” student cannot wear a skirt. Maria was fined by school officials for the infraction, and forced to change...

Re: iPhone app to see if the weather is good for skirts
I'm guessing it's always skirt weather in AZ! Here too, at least by my weather station. Pretty much. It rarely dips below freezing in the winter at night, and winter days can be in the 80's. Of course that's central and southern AZ - go up north to the higher altitudes and you can experience more &...

Perhaps because we Android users are smart enough to use a regular weather app (or maybe just look outside?) and determine for ourselves if it is good skirting weather?Orca wrote:As far as I can see there is no such app for Andriod.

Re: BMI versus Skirt length
I'm 5'10" 165# - according to the calculator linked to that's a BMI of 24. I prefer knee-length-ish - anywhere from just touching the top of the kneecap to fully covering it. Sometimes even calf-length. Interesting that the question is mostly being answered in terms of measured length of the ga...

Very well said! And Utilikilts in particular are very well behaved - you'd almost have to be trying to flash someone, or in a fairly strong wind, for anyone to determine what you chose.

Re: Young man with home made skirt in Paris
Looks rather kilt-ish what with the flat front and pleats round the rest of it.
