Re: Comme des Garcons skirts, and comments

I'm not a huge fan of the print, but I like the poofiness of some of the skirts. Some of the pants styles I find rather bizarre, but go skirts!

How short is too short for men's skirts?

So I've been trying out different lengths, since my comfort zone is knee length, and I was just wondering what your guy's opinion is on how short our skirts should be. Or what lengths are your favorites? Just for kicks I bought a demin mini skirt, and at the moment I wouldn't dare wear it without st...

Re: Forget H&M Have a look at Pringles Of Scotland

I think this is a step in the right direction, because if men start wearing skirts with pants than sooner or later they'll start wearing just skirts by themselves. Overall I like the look though I'd ditch the pants.

Re: A very intresting Video

I like the video! Though I'd probably opt for a skirt without shorts underneath, but any push towards men in skirts is good in my book.

I'd have to agree that men's skirts that I have seen tend to be on the expensive side, which it would be nice if they made cheaper ones.

Re: Hope Alexander: How Men Can Wear Women's Clothing, But ....

Aw there's some manly looking short skirts! lol In my mind I've always viewed shorter skirts as actually suiting men better because I think of the ancient Greek and Roman outfits and their skirt like thingys were pretty short, but very masculine, and the women always wore long white robes. (at least...

Re: Anyones skirt wearing influenced by christmas?

Christmas time for me means more time spent with family and relatives, and they would freak out if they saw me wearing a kilt or a skirt. They are horribly close-minded about such things. So my skirts are all packed away, for now. . .

Fantastic post John! It was great to read it :) I see what you mean by its easier to wear a skirt around strangers instead of your peers. In high school my friends thought I was crazy for wearing a skirt, and wearing it around town was a lot easier. Though now in college my friends love the fact tha...

Re: Tell us about your most recent skirt / kilt purchase...

I have to say you're awesome for making your own! I'd have to say the last I bought skirts was on Black Friday. My friend and I went around various stores and she helped me pick out some good ones for some great deals: A denim skirt that hit just above the knee, a calf length black skirt with some p...

Good for you! Whenever I wear a skirt in front of friends for the first time, they're usually a bit surprised, but after they're used to it they don't even notice I'm wearing a skirt at all.

Re: Trying on skirts in clothes shops

Greetings, Speaking from as a teenager from a very close minded state, I find that an easy way to buy skirts is to find a pair of shorts/pants your size, and then hold the skirt up to the pants to find the closest fit. That way people think you're just holding a pair of shorts, and aren't looking at...

Which college did you see the guy doing the multi-layer skirt with black/white stripe kneesocks? I frequently wear skirts/kilts @ my college (Bellevue College in Bellevue, Washington - formerly Bellevue Community College) -J It was in Missoula, MT, just a few states off. On my Honor Band trip last ...

Riding a Bike with a Utilikilt

How do you ride a bike wearing a utilikilt that doesn't have modesty straps without showing anything you don't want to show? For college I have to bike a lot. I've tried riding my bike around the house wearing it, and if I ride slowly and if there's no wind then it doesn't seem to fly up. Can I wear...
