Re: Skirts, Pants, and Deuteronomy 22:5
It's also worth remembering that the original text was written around 2000 years ago in a country with totally different clothing standards. I was involved in a theatre group that staged 'Fiddler on the Roof', and we were lucky enough to have a member who could advise us on Jewish religious garments...

Re: Hi from 'sunny' Manchester UK
Hi BattyB. As you become accepted in the cafe you will find there are probably around 20 of us on the UK mainland (I haven't done an accurate count). I did manage to get to a physical meeting in London before Xmas 2023 and it was interesting to see others with a similar view to my own. Hoping you ca...

I think I know the identity you're looking for. He shares my christian name, and the old Volvo is a powerful clue.
We haven't heard from him in over a year, though, so I hope he's still OK.

I can't really comment on favourite movies as I don't go to the cinema. However, it is worth analysing the term 'expert'.

Yes, I find the kilt an acceptable way of skirting in public. At the risk of upsetting the Bravehearts, I don't indulge in the full regalia all the time, and I do find it prudent to use underwear.

Likewise, I'm still about, although I'm doing a lot more reading than posting at present.

My deepest condolences to Moon.
Also my thoughts go to Elisabetta for the support that Moon will inevitably need.

No, you're not alone. I also remember the girl companion adding the dimensions of Time and Space to the commonly known set of three (Height, Width and Depth).

Re: Hello from Milton Keynes, UK
Regarding the name of Milton Keynes, there would appear to be a number of other settlements in the area with 'Milton' in the name. Milton Keynes just happened to be the one the government decided to develop into a 'New Town'. (It's not so new now!!).

What didn't become clear was what the current genital state of the accused, because that would have a bearing on the most appropriate accommodation. Certainly the person is of external female appearance.

Re: Gender Identity
At birth we are defined as male or female, depending on the external appearance of genitalia. However, I suspect we have all come across the 'delicate boy' who could easily emulate a female by adopting androgenous clothing. Equally, I have come across ladies who exhibit the broad upper body normally...

I understand that another 'trick' for hiding a ventilation shaft is to pass it up through a building. There is a series of TV programmes (presented by Tim Dunn and Siddy Holloway) about the London Underground that have most recently been shown on the 'Yesterday' channel in the UK. If you have an int...

Re: Skirtcraft Tellurian Skirt
Like others on this forum, I like the concept and designs, but can't consider placing an order because of the size range. I admit to verging on the enormous at 6'2" tall and 48 - 50" waist, but would appreciate some degree of catering for those of us on the larger size, even if a premium i...

Re: The Football World Cup in Qatar
Does anyone know anywhere (country, planet, universe) that's going to be free of this menace for the next month? Football bores me to tears, largely because of the infatuation with it. It's allowed to totally rewrite the TV schedules, often at short notice, so that what you have arranged to watch is...
