Re: Actual men's dress that is a real possiblity
The dress in the OP looks like a plain black silk dress to me, quite nice if a little tight on the muscly model's arms (so it would fit mine just fine...)

Re: T-shirt Dress that could easily work on men
Such dresses that I have, are worn instead of pyjamas in mornings and evenings. Some are maxi-length, some are T-shirt dresses from places such as Primark, H+M etc. There are a few places now that sell men's long line T-shirts which are pretty much T-shirt dresses in all but name. They're cheaper on...

Re: What makes a skirt manly v feminine
It is a fair question. I agree with many here that logically clothing styles are genderless. Assuming you, like myself, live in a society with cultural and fashion conventions and wish to navigate that while exercising some individuality or freedom; then I offer the following: Masculine skirts - Be...

I have several similar bought for that purpose, instead of PJs.
Longer/thicker ones for warmth and shorter/thinner ones for warmer weather.

True, but it does have the snap fastener to prevent undue exposure. Certainly work wells enough when cycling.DonP wrote:... there is not enough excess material to easily cover the area between your legs....

Re: The bicycle dilemma
I've tried more since my last post on this thread. My black utility kilt was too heavy, with the fabric being too stiff and heavy to allow it to move freely, plus the pleats at the back were uncomfortable. The Khaki utility kilt was better, mainly because the fabric is better and more flexible. My C...

Yes. Usual for kilts - measure true waist at navel and use that.

Re: Best skirt styles for men
Just looking for opinions on good skirt styles. I have some sewing ability and know a good dressmaker who could make things a reality. hat you would like to see in the menswear in Marks, John Lewis etc. or similar elsewhere in a world where skirts were unisex. Ideas to date include Blue denim with ...

Re: The bicycle dilemma
Purely co-incidentally, I came on here today to post about skirted bike riding and my recent experiences. As a recent, returned to cycling in my middle age, I have acquired a passable mountain bike for the easy trails near me. I've quickly turned to wearing a kilt, rather than long trousers. The one...

Re: Any experience with Ali Express?
I do a certain amount of shopping on Aliexpress and have been generally happy. Most of the clothing IS sized for petite Asians, but the labelling is usually fairly clear about this. Where sizing has simply been wrong, I've taken photos of the offending item alongside a tape measure and have been ref...
