No mention of skirts, but you can see by reading this that there is still sadly a long way to go for 99.5% of males.

Re: let's list why we like skirts

A skirt is a piece of fabric, an inanimate object that knows no gender. Any associations of gender are nothing more than a social construct which are now slowly being dismantled. Quite simply, I ignore such constructs, since as a citizen of this world I have the right to wear whatever I want. It’s a...

Article on masculinity, including skirts etc

A bit long winded, but interesting. The key word for me was “permission”.

Re: What will crossdressers do if dresses becomes mainstream for men

I simply view men who fully CD as men who have a desire to be someone else. It’s escapism. I’ve read similar parallels with people who are into wearing latex and dress up in suits and hoods. They get to escape being themselves and become this other person. There is nothing wrong with it at all and i...

Re: Can a skirt ever look masculine

Can’t we move to a world where we ditch masculine and feminine ? It’s nothing but a social construct. Here is a radical idea: let people be who they are without labels.

Men’s lack of adventure

In the U.K., there was the worthy Unicef soccer aid match on TV last night. Two presenters, Dermot O Leary and Alex Scott, the latter an ex England women’s football player. There was a picture of O Leary and Scott in women’s health magazine today, and the article was all about Scott’s dress, a red m...

Latex

Anyone ever worn or considered wearing latex skirts or dresses? I am intrigued and would love to try it. It looks incredible.

Re: Curly Tales: Shivam Bhardwaj, The Guy In A Skirt Is Here To Shatter Gender Norms In Fashion

What people choose to wear has nothing to do with their sexuality. So why do we have a problem with a queer individual promoting it? They are just as “normal” as anyone else.

If you don’t have an instagram account it’s worth getting one just to see some of this guy’s videos.

Some of his outfits are utterly amazing. I couldn’t care less that he is queer, anyone who aims to normalise MIS is doing good work.

Re: Vogue: Men, Skirts Aren’t That Scary—Promise!

I find it odd he has trouble finding “women’s skirts” that fit! If you have a waist and two legs, you are compatible with any skirt.

The boots are wrong. If you are going to wear knee high boots, heels are the way to go. That’s an easy lesson that can be learned from the ladies.

Re: The New York Times: Defining Nonbinary Work Wear

If someone else decided to “label me” as non binary wearing a skirt or dress, I couldn’t care less. If anyone asked, I’d simply tell them I am a guy who likes wearing skirts and dresses. No big deal, it’s all going in the right direction. People on here over analyse everything, what isn’t necessaril...

Re: Thigh high boots

I prefer high heels to flats, particularly stilettos. I’ve been looking at how ladies style them, I am thinking a short leather skirt and a turtle neck pullover top would work. For those of you who want thigh boots but can’t seem to get them in your size, there are some European made to measure boot...
