Re: Public safety in skirting 2021

I think our safety has certainly become less, here in the US, much eroded from where it was in 2016. After the events of January 6th, my advice is to arm yourselves, train on your weapons, and know the control and dedication it requires to score a kill. A few casualties and the thugs will run for th...

Re: Another clothing site hints towards skirts for men.

I suspect that the Trump Pandemic has only broadened the schism between America and the UK/EU even broader. I can only hope that when/if vaccines make it possible to reconnect, we can all agree that men deserve the same fashion rights as females.

Re: Hello from the Blue Ridge

A happy Appie! I'm from NC also, but waaaaay down east. I don't come to this site much because 1) I was not allowed to post anything political, and the last four years have been a nightmare, and I despised being denied the right to comment. 2) Because I have a "farm" now in rural SC with n...

To the local ice-cream shop this evening, skorted and socially distanced in a KN95 mask. Good mint chocolate chip!

Re: One more icon dead!!

Our special closeness to Jones was in the fact that he played female roles in Monty Python comedy because the others in the predominantly male troupe didn’t want to. That made him their “dude in a dress.” And he did so masterfully. He was spot-on perfect in the role of Brian’s mother in ‘Life of Bri...

Re: Out and About -- In the World at Large

A good skirt, Dillon and it has pockets too. About a couple of inches too long for me. You see, if you've got 'em, flaunt 'em, so I like to show my kneecaps. Not altogether lost on me too is the colour of that sky behind you.......Blue! Don't see that very often hereabouts this time o' year. Tom It...

Re: Out and About -- In the World at Large

Headed soon to a restaurant at River Lights, a large (future) development south of Wilmington, east of the Cape Fear. Wearing a chocolate brown corduroy skirt with drab (military) green Spanx tights and matching sweater, with brown closed-heel Sanita clogs. We get to relax at our Wilmington place, s...

http://www.kentuckyexplorer.com/nonmembers/08-03story.html Interesting spot in NE KY. Especially the construction of the tunnel. I am convinced that the habitability of eastern KY is fully owed to the invention of dynamite. Men died building this tunnel; one from attempting to thaw frozen dynamite b...

https://nsm09.casimages.com/img/2019/11/29//mini_19112907360422178916532681.jpg I went to La Sagrada Familia in a skirt. Bound to burn in hell for that, right? I visited Madrid's cathedral skirted and heeled. The only thing I take care of was the noise of my heels. Not so easy to walk on your toes ...

Re: Wearing a skirt to a Clinic

I appreciate you guys who go to the doc in a skirt, but I’d rather not have a doctor deciding he knows me by my clothing. My fashion choices are mine, and not worth having to challenge my physician over his initial judgements based on attire. My experience with medical people is actually opposite t...

Hello Pdx, I have read a couple of reports which suggested the mother was doing this: https://thefederalist.com/2018/11/26/mom-dresses-six-year-old-son-girl-threatens-dad-losing-son-disagreeing/ https://www.ntd.com/mother-forces-son-to-dress-as-girl-dads-rights-at-risk-for-offering-choice_262028.ht...

Re: For those that have tried nail polish and found it too difficult to DIY

I polish my toenails, but my hands are in too many solvents to maintain fingernail polish. Gasoline and diesel fuel does a number on nail polish. I like to do my toenails outside in sunshine as I can see better in full sun what I am doing. Not flexible enough in my old age to access my toes with eas...

Re: Shaving legs?

My legs have been shaved continuously for a dozen or more years now. I find it a tiresome and time-consuming task, but the initial sensation of perfect smoothness is rewarding, if short-lived. My stubble comes back fast, so the thrill is gone, as BB King might sing, after about 48 hours. I need to s...
