Re: Issue of men in skirts on Today show this morning
LOL! In my humble opinion I think there is no more modest apparel the dad of the skirt. I wonder what would've happened if the schools in question had said, no shorts are still not allowed but you may wear the skirt of the school uniform if you wish. Hi Bill. Ummmm....what means "the dad of th...

An Open Letter
Dea Members of Skirt Cafe': I've been reading a lot of angry posts of late and not a few where hurt has been expressed. The sources of the anger and hurt seem to be cited as the political right and Christians though I admit that I may be making it over simple. These expressions have caused some wond...

Re: A dress for all men
To say the least, those costumes [in Clash of the Titans were quite bad-ass! As were most in the classical period. Only barbarians -- barbarians , I tell you! -- wore trousers. Civilised men didn't go for two tubes when one would do. I'd post some pictures of the movie, but you all are just going t...

Has anybody noticed, he hasn't written a single line since the original post.

Just pointing out the obvious.
Take care everybody and merry Christmas!

I can do better than that! Inside the shoes I put socks of varying lengths, or heights, depending on how you describe them. They make most shoes more comfortable to wear. :D Today I received delivery of a 'praiper' Scotland Shop 8-yarder in McKenzie Modern. I tried it on at lunch time and it demons...

Godspeed, John Glenn!
I just heard that a great man, a great American, and a personal hero has passed away.
I was nine years old when he made his his stork orbital flight.
Indeed, godspeed, John Glenn!
Remembering him.

Re: Difficulties with partners
I remember a time a few years ago back when I still had a good deal website. I neighbor lady two doors up from us confronted my wife while she was out riding her bike about my attire. She said to my wife and I: "I wouldn't let my man go out like that!" To which my wife replied he looks fin...

Re: An odd, yet cxompelling, paring
I love the pipes and practically any form they take. As do I. Another piece I heard for the first time this evening after diving head-first into the rabbit-hole was "A Piper to the End" by Knopfler, the key phrase being, "If there are no pipes in heaven // then it's down below I'll g...

As those who have read me over the years know, I am powerfully musical, and resonant with the "Old World" just to the West of mainland Europe -- and along came today a musical treat that brought me to tears with its beauty: The Winter's End by Liam O'Flynn which features a most unlikely p...
