Re: Encounters of the silly kind

When I was discharged last Thursday, I had to change from the hospital gown into my street clothes. An older nurse, 50+ I thougth, was there to assist me if needed. First I pulled my thong on, still on the bed. The nurse looked a little surprised. Next came my shirt. I had to pin the bag of the drai...

To me this seems the extreme cruel way to run a business. First get COVID-19 settled in the country and than sell facemasks.

Re: Home made skirt

Good show. If you like to make a kilt, try the http://www.xmarksthescot.com/ website where you can find instructions. Prepare yourself for a lot of math to calculate the pleats and other parts of the kilt. I still don't understand the urge for male skirts. The fabric is not stiff like a body armor. ...

Re: Stay in school kids....

As for calculators, I went to school way before the calculators. The first one I saw was from a class mate somewhere in the 60s. It was the size of a small brick, costs $800 and his father, an airline pilot, bought it in Japan. We were using slide rulers then. Using the slide ruler forces you to es...

Re: Stay in school kids....

When I came to the USA I had a little trouble to handle the coins. There are only 4 different coins and in Europe we have even 8. From those 8 the one and two cent coins are no longer accepted in some countries. Now I'm doing much better. I even noticed that some people are even happy to be payed in...

Re: Anyone know any good scar removing remedies?

I hope it is not the beginning of: If you show me your scar, I will show mine. In 1976 I had a motorbike accident. I slipped and I got the right hand cylinderhead of my BMW 600 on my right ankle. It was quite serious and in the hospital they had to do some work to get everything where it needed to b...

Re: Keeping the manhood from poking out

In the beginning, I was also a little worried about showing the bulge. Some unmentionables are better in suppressing it than others. I also tried to wear A-line skirts that are more forgiving. I made a few pencil skirts and tweaked the pattern a little to reduce the showing. One day I was walking in...

Re: Gold Star Famlies

It reminds me of someone else who used the latest technology -- in those days, radio broadcasting and public address amplifiers at rallies -- to get into power and stay there.  Those were the real innovations, not the policies they disseminated; they shot into power the first person who succeeded i...

Re: Skirts worn with a corset

My main reason for wearing a skirt is comfort and freedom of movement. To my mind, a corset would be contrary to those reasons. Somebody has to come up with a very good reason to make me even slightly interested. ;)

Re: The Other Side Of George Floyd

On face value there is not much wrong with capitalism, socialism or communism. The only problem comes when the human nature gets involved. In any society there are always characters that will try to better themselves at the expence of others. If a controling body could keep those people in check, th...

Re: The Other Side Of George Floyd

I don't think you have ever seen countries with multiple parties at work. After the general election a government is formed from parties that like (or need) to work together and form together a majority. That majority might be left-leaning, right-leaning or religious, depending on the outcome of the...

Re: The Other Side Of George Floyd

Being Dutch, it seems I have an idea about Socialism that is quite different from the general view in the USA. I really don't understand it because if you are not social, you will not fit in any community. And with the current social distancing, the word seems very popular. My grand-father was a Soc...
