Re: Another Friend Finds Out
Pleased the event went well. It could be your male friend is using his wife as an excuse. If not then as denimini has said, the event could have a positive effect upon your friends wife. Time will tell, but I suspect your friend will not appear in a skirt - again time will tell.

Re: Do People Notice?
People do notice, especially if out of the ordinary. From my experience the vast majority are not bothered, either pass a positive remark, or in a small minority a negative look, possibly a comment but negative comment is rare. But over whelming the majority just get on in life, interact with you an...

Re: Hello hello !
Hello Dani and welcome. The first time is always the hardest going public. As others have already said, we have all been there. It does get alot easier the more you do it and realise that a direct comment is very rare, the negative look a minority, the postive/inquisitive look also a minority and th...

Re: What feminine items do you wear?
I wear what I want to wear. I avoid pink though! Feminine to me is what society still insist as the label womenswear when it comes to men. As I openly invade the society labelled female wardrobe, except the bra and dress, then all bar these two! Bra, useless item for me, dress, never felt right in o...

Re: GERMANY
I have come across several MIS from Germany on social media and they indicate positive reactions. Not been to Germany myself but have to France a few times skirted and had no issues anywhere.

Re: Getting compliments
I get compliments and quite often. Three this week, on the same day. All from women. They never leave me feeling negative. The banter around the compliment reinforces the positive aspect - my experience.

Re: We're the majority!
I accept the overwhelming majority of women are not in skirts/dresses except for very warm days, even then within women they are a minority themselves. Formal occasions perhaps more women in dresses and skirts but from my real life experience this is being reduced to a formal occasion such as weddin...

Re: Stop Assuming Biological Male in Skirt = MIS (They're probably pre-op transwomen)
Yes there are lot of transwomen out there and people make assumptions. Like for instance: all men are predators - that's why trans women are hated, they are seen as predatory males in a dress. Transmen are ignored for the same reason - they are just confued girls. If you wear a skirt, act like a ma...

Re: It’s A Kilt
Being pedantic, it's a t-shirt! I know the Scots who wear kilts are keen to differentiate from a skirt, that's fine. Skirt is a general term. There are a variety of skirt styles with different names, and countries around the world have differing names for their skirt like garments. However, they all...

Re: interesting interaction
Such incidents I have encountered but they are very much a small minority because you are out of ear shot. Compliments come often. Negative comments become know to us when my wife and I are parted and thinking I am out or ear shot say something. My wife simply says, "excuse me, that's my husban...

Re: "My Son Loves Wearing Dresses"
Good article. Beyond many in Society, but I meet a lot who are very understanding that a man in a skirt is a man, just as women now in trousers are women.

Re: Got a compliment
Compliments are always good to get and a confidence builder. Have had many over the years. I also take the thousands who may not give a worded compliment but interact with you positively, respect you, include and involve you without question as a compliment too, but getting a worded compliment speci...

Re: Hello from VA
Double_Wasp, you have a delicate situation and have my thoughts. Cannot add to what has been said. When the partner objects, really only you both can discuss and try and resolve the way forward. If it helps with discussions, my wife is supportive and always has been as too with many on this forum. Y...
