Re: Hello from Middle England

Hi JamieO'H from an adhoc member of this forum. Pleased to hear from another man in a skirt. Please do find the confidence to go public because when you do you will not regret it and ask why did I not earlier. The first time is difficult, all on here will admit that. It is different, breaking from a...

Re: Hello from South UK

Hi Dave, from an adhoc member of this forum. Good to hear from another man in a skirt. Also you have a supportive wife and understanding children. You are right to adopt the attitude of you are who you are and not bothered about what others think. Always difficult going out in public the first time,...

Re: If you could eliminate one thing in the world, what would it be?

Fully agree Barleymower. If I had to choose only one then it would be clothing - freedom of choice, expression and individuality for all. Having said that I could happily be without people! They are the route of all problems via religion, politics, bigotry, hypocrisy... Then I would not be here so ...

Re: Skirts and names

IMHO a Screen Name is just that. So long as it is not offensive let it be. The content of replies will let you know what that member is, ethos and beliefs. The adjudicaters can close the account if that person brings the forum into disrepute by their posts or pushes expectations upon others within t...

Re: What people really think

Found this thread interesting and noted with interest the banter between Fred, Jamie001 and TSH. Society is made up of humans and every human has their interpretation for what they want, not others, or the person in question and this is the majority and many are bigots and hypocrites which is like t...

SkirtedMan, it is a pity that you couldn't join Sinned and I when we met in York in March but I hope you will consider attending the mass meeting being planned for Newcastle on Saturday 28th September 2024.
Steve.
Have responded uner your Mass Meet in Get-together section.

Re: Pessimism or Optimism?

Optimist. I am a glass half full person these days but with regards skirts, I already embrace my freedom of choice, expression and individuality as a man. I do no wait for the herd to make it available. If I want to do something and it is not doing harm to others then I do it. I needed Counselling i...

Re: A deep curtsey!

I think you can both like the way women look in skirts and like to wear them. Actually I know you can, because I do. Welcome. Fully agree. Clothing should be freedom of choice, expression and individuality for all. For me skirts and many items in the still society labelled womenswear have far more ...

Hi

Welcome from an adhoc member. Now you have worn a skirt I doubt you will stop and very sure that you will never own a pair of shorts.

Any one who challenges an unnecessary society construct based upon gender, especially one sided society constructs is a rebel.

Go for it. Good luck.

Re: [Twirls in] Hello, from Vancouver Island

Hi Welcome from an adhoc member. Very pleased to note another male skirt wearer with an aim to change society culture in this aspect. I primarily invade the society still labelled female wardrobe as a man for my own freedom of choice, expression and individuality but secondly in the hope of encourag...

Re: How do you respond to confrontation?

I have only ever been challenged directly twice, both in my time of volunteering at a Historic House and that is now 8 years. Both were women, separate occasions, both short hair, both 'manish' in appearance and behaviour, dressed similar with tee shirts, jeans, trainers. Both got a polite reply but...

Hope you enjoy skirt wearing far more and out and about in public. Sorry to hear about your wife's views but hopefully in t...

Re: Hello from Yorkshire

Hello from another man in a skirt in Yorkshire. Pleased to hear you also concur that skirts are better than shorts in hot weather. I find skirts better than trousers and throughout the year regardless of weather but certainly in warm times. Enjoy your new freedom and discussions on this forum. Many ...
