Re: Gender Blender

Great find!

I'm not totally happy with the look of some of their (his) stuff, for myself anyway, but the general slant of the posts definitely ring a bell with me.

I found the story of how their relationship started to be quite, encouraging!

Re: Even ladies shoes .

The only ones I wear are the tall boots, that's for winter. Finding mens boots that tall is nearly impossible.

Re: what styles do you guys recommend?

Thrift stores and consignment shops will give you a greater range of choices than most stand alone retail stores; easy to try on for fit, and appearance; cheap besides -- nothing lost if it doesn't suit in the end; or several for a few bucks to experiment. The prior comments are spot on in my view;...

The word for losing sensation is called numb, or numbness. If it involves loss of control, to some extent, I would generally say " it's gone to sleep" if I feel an itchy, tingly sensation, then I have "pins and needles" How correct this is, I'm not sure, but that's the words, or descriptions I would...

Re: Self Defence for Women ... Sort of.

I used to work with a young woman who was a little......unusual. She was brought up by her mother, mostly, and her mother subscribed to a fairly strict religion that sort of thought gender roles were very fixed in certain ways. e.g. women were not permitted to wear pants. But another aspect of her u...

Re: Out and About -- In the World at Large

There are MANY types of Skort. I have cut out the lining on some, because 1. I didn't realise the were skorts, 2. Wanted the skirt part but the liner was unsuitable. 3. The problem of wearing underwear for more one day. I ended up with quite a few skorts from thrift stores that were quite cheap, mos...

I've had what I think were whistles and catcalls, but very, very infrequently, and for the most part far enough away that I wasn't entirely sure they were aimed at me.

Re: “I never joke about my work 007.”

I've decided that if anybody asks, I'll tell them why I wear skirts. If they have some misconceptions on the subject, that's their problem. I don't actually like them not understanding the situation, but I can't do anything about it, other than acting the way I am. If I am misidentified as gay, or t...

What car is this? Mine? He's a 2012 Dodge Caliber (now manufactured by the Fiat Group), but at least the old MOPAR name is still intact even if the Chrysler Group nullified the Plymouth brand (damn them!) years ago. Whither the days of yore? Sometimes progress really isn't. Oh, yeah, I have heard s...

Re: Swim skirts: Crossing a line?

Eh, I will wear Speedo style swim briefs, while I've not really had any problems doing so, I could imagine in some places that might happen. Now, will wearing a swim skirt which will cover up any...lumps and bumps, be better or worse? For me, I think it would get a lot more attention than a Speedo. ...

Hello all !! Newbie to this community !! Hi there! You should probably make your own introduction thread, just adding it in this one will probably mean it gets a bit lost. Tell us a bit about yourself, do you wear your skirts outside, why you wear them, how long and so on. You don't have to share a...

I wonder how it came to be that kayak and canoe mean opposite things between UK and US? I think, and Wikipedia seems to back me up, that in the UK it is not uncommon to refer to a kayak as a canoe, but when talking about what the US would call a canoe, they would tend to call it a "Canadian Canoe" ...
