Re: TMZ: RUSSELL WESTBROOK & KID CUDI ROCKIN' SKIRTS FOR NYFW ... New Trend Emerging???
I don't really have a lot of time for basketball or rap music, so the fact I don't like their style isn't very important.

Re: Skirt/dress-wearing vs. Masculinity
In my family, it was always my mother who expressed anger and rage. I never experienced my father in a seriously bad mood, (though my older siblings did, once ) I was, if anything, somewhat more concerned about not provoking my mother's temper. On one occasion, in her older days, she realized that ...

Re: I'm glad I stayed up late...
ABBA was a very formative experience for me when they hit the big time on the Eurovision song contest. I'm keen to see what this digital performance will be like. Hope they can show it places other than London.

Re: is this to short?
I would have said yes, too short a few months ago, but now? I just walked back to my place from a block or so away, wearing a square cut grey denim skirt,(It was a skort but the lining was so uncomfortable I cut it out and used matching briefs) and it measure 13" as well, At my height it looks ...

In addition, one of the checkers at the OfficeDepot I go to seems to always be in his Utilikilt. The moral of the story: There's no field more attuned to public perception than retail. So, if retail, male checkers can wear a skirt in public, any male can. Until my job went away when COVID got bad, ...

Re: Local Medical Crisis
An older couple I was talking with said to me recently, “but is it really all that bad? It isn’t that deadly”. And true - individually we probably don’t personally know that many people who died… but it isn’t necessarily about death. It’s a lot of things beyond death: Burden on the medical system N...
Re: Canning
Nearest I've got to that is pickling. I love pickles! Pickled onions are highly anti social, but oh, so tasty! Trouble is they take so long, so I cheat, and instead of using small onions, I used larger onions sliced into 3/8 or 1/2 inch.

Re: Out and About -- In the World at Large
A couple of interesting(?) incidents today. I went to get a checkup for my pacemaker, nothing unusual about that, though it seems I'm close to needing a new one as the battery dies, still at least 6 months off. I've worn skirts most of the last few years of these checkups, with absolutely zero comme...

The only thing I found interesting about that article is that Quin Lewis wears skirts even though he has a prosthetic.

Re: LightHeart Gear skirt
Generally, a good thing. Like Tom, the price is too high for me. I have several thrift store/bargain rack skirts that have similar features. It looks to fit into the same market as the Elkomando kilt. The dress is also interesting.

Re: Hanging straps
Can you pull on them? I've seen it done with shorts that pulling on straps there will bunch up the fabric on the outseam, so you can more or less outer leg showing.

Re: Tartan Inspried Long Skirt Suit
I don't know about a plaid or tartan skirt suit, but I thought I saw a gentleman wearing a tweed 3 piece skirt suit once. I was talking to another customer, so was unable to catch up with the guy and talk to him, but it looked good to me. Gave me an impression of a Sherlock Holmes, Victorian period.

Re: Don't give a toss...
Oh yes, On several occasions I've had conversations with a couple, sometimes for several minutes, and when the wife, (it's usually the wife, but not always) gets around to complimenting me on my skirt, the husband is very surprised.
