Re: back pain

I deal with occasional back pain also. Stretches usually help quite a bit. Massage and chiropractic are often good.

Re: The boundary between skirt wearer and TV

Have your ever overheard a woman say that...she doesn't want to wear a dress for the rest of her life? If some people like to wear skirts, other people prefer trousers.
And some people prefer to be clothes-free. I wish I had the same freedom to be nude as I do to wear a dress.

Re: The boundary between skirt wearer and TV

To me, a transvestite refers to someone who gets sexually aroused by wearing clothes of the other gender. I guess I don't care about that so long as the person doesn't make that obvious.

I could give a similar response--but I usually don't have underwear, so the answer is that I might be arrested if I didn't have it on.

According to psychology Well, right there is your problem. I firmly believe psychology - while useful tool for helping individuals - is made up of a lot of BS. I studied psychology at a graduate level. There are numerous theories, all contradicting one another. Each theorist can see data that confi...

Re: Pretty Skirts?

I have a few skirts I consider "pretty". I wear them sometimes on special occasions. I like pretty things as celebratory, but don't like calling a lot of attention to myself, so it's a bit of a conflict.

Re: Out and About -- In the World at Large

It was a warm afternoon, so I was gardening clothes-free, but then my wife and I needed to go into Walmart for some medicine. I just slipped on this item; I've thought of it as a long shirt, but decided it works as a dress. I asked my wife if I needed something else; she didn't think so. I wonder if...

This isn't my attitude: We started over 25 years ago helping people who were assigned male at birth find products to express their femininity - first with a catalog and later, a website devoted to those who needed specialized clothing and products to express their true selves. Over time, we emerged ...

Sometimes what the image states is true. Sometimes what people call "success" is due to inheritance, privilege, and exploitation of others.

Although I call it a waist pack or belt pack, I make the same choice. Helps in remembering to take my wallet, pocketknife, keys, and phone when I go out.

Re: MIni Dresses & Skirts for Men

We are making equality statements not only in fashion, but everywhere else. We are giving equality to women and demonstrating how she is entitled in equal pay nor matter what we wear. When a woman walk through employer door in a dress and works with a man in a dress doing the same job, she should e...

My adult son suggested I change into pants before going someplace formal with him a few times. I politely declined and he now seems used to it.

With #2, there's a major stigma we the common folk are going against and trying to overcome. I live in a conservative small town. I'm almost always in a skirt, although I wear trousers or a dress once in a while. I don't find any major stigma. Probably some folks used to talk about me behind my bac...
