Skirt from a pillowcase?
This morning, when putting my pillow into a fresh, but old, pillowcase, I heard a ripping sound. The seam on the closed end failed. A new skirt!? I wrapped the top around a belt and tried it. A few steps and I had a side slit as the side seam started to fail. A little sewing to take care of rough ed...

Re: New Adventure begins
We will stay if we can find an decent home NOT under a HOA, not in a trailer park (it can be a trailer, but I want to OWN the land it sits on), NOT in a flood zone, and needs off street parking for up to 4 vehicles (my service van, our truck, my car, and an extra spot for company), oh, and while it...

Re: Where will we be in say... ten years?
In the last few weeks, two young men I supervise in volunteer work have expressed interest in wearing skirts. One asked where I got my skirts and has come to work in a sarong. The other asked my advice on converting old jeans into a skirt. I expect both of them have only seen me in skirts. Be yourse...

Re: Greatest Influence On Children
That's a sad attitude. I am glad I had children to help make this world a better place.

Re: I finally wore a skirt in public
A tip if you're want to try out lots of styles quickly; find a large second hand clothing store and just browse the racks. They won't have just the latest fashion but all sorts of stuff. And it won't break the bank for near misses. I did that yesterday. See my post under Jim's Looks. https://www.sk...

Re: Hypothethical Question
GNC is only sexist if you see it as derogatory; I think of it more as a compliment. I happily call myself a non-conformist. That doesn't only apply to dress codes.

Re: Gardening Day
That is an old meme. World Naked Gardening Day is the first Saturday of May, so this year it is May 4. See the Wikipedia article (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/World_Naked_Gardening_Day)
But I observed it in proper fashion today, anyway.

Re: Ultra thick tights
I switch into 60d or 40d coloured stockings with an industrial suspender belt. Much easier for the bathroom and cooler underparts. Every man has his own solution and all are valid. I have found crotchless tights to work well for these purposes and find it easier than garters (suspenders to you). I ...

Re: Skirts in Schools - No hope for boys
School kids often divide up into groups, cliques, gangs, or whatever you want to call them. The possibility exists, I think, for a group leader to get his group to wear skirts together. There is safety in numbers. It takes a very brave boy to do it on his own, but we do see the stories from time to ...

Re: giant skirts
This seems like an area some "new" technology could come in handy. How about some inflatable hoops that could be quickly deflated for when it's better not to be so voluminous? Jim, in the latex world it has already been done by many. Google “latex blow up skirts” and you will find many so...
