Re: Postman or Mailman

I suspect that the use of "postman" in the song "Please Mr Postman" was because of the repetition of the "p" sound. After all "Please Mr Mailman" just doesn't have that ring to it. As for kayak and canoe I just thought that a kayak was an American or Canadian version. But then, as I have never reall...

Re: Update on my Wife

UA, I read your posts and eagerly hope that the news is better. Please understand that I don't want to repeat what others are saying but that doesn't mean tha tmy thoughts aren't with you both. Like Fred I feel powerless because of the distance between us but if there is a universal consciousness th...

Dan, you posted, "I want to thank Jenn and Sinned for proving my point. Sinned condemned President Trump for taking a salary . When I explained that he doesn't take his salary Jenn condemned him for not taking it." If you'll go back and read what I posted I have not criticised or applauded for Trump...

Re: Out and About -- In the World at Large

Buying limits are long gone. People have realised that the supply chain for households and foods aren't going to dry up. Except for bedding, towels curtains and so on the supply of which is a bit patchy at the moment as most of the gear is made in China. There are gaps on the shelves, folks. Fortuna...

Re: It's all about "sex"

Dan, Trump is supposed to be a billionaire. Hard to verify but I'll give the benefit of the doubt. Thus any salary he would get from being President would be mere chicken feed to him. Admittedly Boris isn't short of a bob or two but he's nowhere in Trump's league. But at least Boris is doing a bette...

Re: It's all about "sex"

One thing occurred to me. Our Prime Minister is paid a salary and they get a guaranteed pension at retirement no matter how long they served as PM. Does Trump get the same benefits? If so then you will be paying for his term for many years to come.

Re: U.S. coin shortage

Over here you can get little plastic bags that fold over at the top and printed on the front is the amount of coins that the bag is designed to hold. For example £20 in £1 coins. They can hold 1p, 2-, 5p, 10p, 20p, 50p, £1 and £2 coins but no mixed values. At the bank they weigh them against a stand...

Re: U.S. coin shortage

Over here there is the fad of offering commemorative coins and it can be anything from Olympic designs to Beatrix Potter characters. Thus a lot get hoarded away by collectors hoping that they will be worth something one day. There must be millions in people's jars in their homes. Did you not have qu...

Re: Has the attention on transgendered individuals helped us?

skirted84, you said, "Regrettably experience over the years has shown there is little acceptance of a man openly wearing 'womens' clothes as a man,...." Well, your experience is a lot different to mine. I find that out and about in "women's" clothes no notice is taken at all. I don't think the major...

In my teens our family used to hire a boat and go on the Norfolk Broads. A set of waterways in the South East of England. Enjoyable and very slow paced holiday. Must try and do it again someday.

Dan, this is a guy that is attempting to undo the health care provisions installed by Obama IN THE MIDDLE OF A PANDEMIC. He's been shut down on that for the moment but he'll try again. That's how much he thinks of the disfranchised and poor. And as for the media reporting opinions, yes they do. BUT ...

Re: Pushing my limits

Dave, the supervisor is normally quite shy and softly spoken and I was surprised that it was he that escorted the customer out. He didn't tell me, it was another of my colleagues. As I have said, my colleagues are completely accepting of my wearing a skirt in my own time. I have no sense of nervousn...

Re: Keeping the manhood from poking out

misha, I see it this way, "If they are prepared to display then I'm prepared to look." And sometimes I see a lot! Customers coming to the till showing cleavage and then a lot more when they bend over to pick something up. Camel toe - seen them. Short skirts - yes again. Tight leg coverings - yes. Ba...
