Re: The things people will say

At the same time, I don't want people to think I'm trans, as I'm not, even though the trans advocates would say otherwise, which then begs the question - what the heck are you? Last time I checked (and I do so daily) I'm a human male. But seriously, I understand what you mean about the trans ...

Re: The things people will say

Well, the scriptures are pretty clear on crossdressing and being an effeminate man. As for pastoral robes, I believe it is commanded in Exodous for men to wear trousers when approaching God (apparently they did exist during biblical times) There is nothing wrong with ignoring passages we don't alig...

Re: Suspender skirt

That grey number Uncle Al posted... that's the ticket right there! The others don't seem full enough... not enough flare. But that grey one... yes! Definitely the grey one. In this cooler weather in the U.K. I'd wear one of my fluffy petticoats underneath. Not only for insulation but to flare it ou...

Re: Storage of skirts

I store all mine folded up in bags tucked away in my lock up wardrobe. My wife knows about my black utility / punk kilts and isn't too bothered but doesn't know about some of the other stuff I have which I only wear when she's not around (she goes to visit friends and family in and around London fai...

Re: Autumn Skirts In Cornwall

It would be useful to have the name and address of this Indian shop you're talking about especially if it's in Cornwall. I may pay a visit. A kaftan appeals to me in hot weather, a useful addition to my tie dye wrap skirts, so good for next summer but meanwhile I'll just stick to my denim skirts and...

A good look. Can see why most people wouldn't even notice.

Re: Why we wear skirts and how does it feel?

I like the comfort of wearing skirts and not having my man bits trapped in ball crushing trousers especially in hot weather. Even in cooler weather I still prefer to be skirted; keeping my legs warm by wearing either a midi or an ankle length denim skirt with above the knee socks and petticoats. I l...

Re: Autumn Skirts In Cornwall

Now that the weather is getting cooler I start to increase the layers under my skirt; sometimes wearing as many as five layers of cotton or poly cotton petticoats. In really cold weather I wear one of my fluffy multi layered tiered nylon petticoats under a denim skirt.

That looks great although personally I prefer plain colours rather than stripes.

Re: TRUTH

Absolutely agree. Especially in hot summer weather (which we haven't got here in Britain right now; had a good few days of 13-17 deg. C (55-63 deg. F)).

Re: Would You Wear This?

I'd wear something similar but would prefer at least just below knee length to ankle length with a bit more flare.

Ah yes. Harry Potter. Seen all the films. Just don't mention Voldermort! My wife and I are both Christians but sadly she sees Harry Potter as satanic (which it isn't) whilst watching fake preachers doing fake healings on God TV.

Re: Over or bottom up?

If I'm wearing a slip or petticoat, which I always do, then over the head it goes unless it's a utility kilt or wrap skirt. Alternatively I put my slip and petticoat inside the skirt and pull all three on simultaneously. I have found that putting on a skirt first and pulling other layers up undernea...

Re: Jealous

If I wear tights I might as well be wearing trousers. A pinched undercarriage (polite) doesn't appeal to me.

Re: Scots and The Kilt.

The kilt isn't exclusively Scottish: us Cornish have our own kilts and tartan (yellow and black).
