Re: Skirt from a tablecloth?
It's absolutely possible, but depending on the diameter of the tablecloth (which will define the hem length) it may be somewhat difficult to find the precise centre which then means that the maths to get the size of the waist right so the tablecloth can be properly cut in precisely the right way. B...

Re: skirts for men
while searching for something, I came across this. looks promising, and the price isn't bad either https://www.skirtcraft.com/ I actually backed the Aqueous skirt on kickstarter and I have two of them. Good quality skirts with good pockets, made for all genders. Macabi is also marketed towards both...

Re: What feminine items do you wear?
Why does this double standard exist? Yes, why is it in a world where there is precious little room for traditional masculinity in the ecosystem where the women now inhabit every last micro-hectare? I'll posit that it has precisely nothing to do with "inferiority" or "superiority"...

Thinking about the comments to this thread, as well as the link....
So, if a woman reacts positively to a man in skirts, it is likely that he is:
1. Accepted as, but merely as, a casual acquaintance.
or....
2. Taken in as one of the girls.

Indeed, jamie001. Members have commented that, when they finally start to wear a skirted rig out and about, they have a new found reason to care about their appearance. In contrast to typical drab male attire. There is little incentive to concern yourself about your appearance, because the result wi...

Re: Finally - Too Tired
I am 67. Yeah, been slowing down too.
Also, I have noted the changes in physically appearance over the last couple years. Neck/throat looks gaunt. My skin has begun to look like that of old people.
Such is the transition from late middle age to the young-old years.

Re: What have you discovered through wearing skirts and dresses?
Putting a lot of thought into what I am wearing that day. “If I wear this top, and this skirt…” With pants, it’s grab this and grab that…ok to go! Me too. Thinking about wearing a skirt leads to thinking about what other garments will go well with that skirt. Trying to come up with an outfit that w...

So women can accept skirted men as casual acquaintances, but seldom as significant others?

Re: The boundary between skirt wearer and TV
Have your ever overheard a woman say that...she doesn't want to wear a dress for the rest of her life? If some people like to wear skirts, other people prefer trousers.Barleymower wrote: ↑Tue Apr 16, 2024 11:32 am
I not saying that our lives are missing skirts, I think everyone's lives are missing skirts. They are a happy place.

Re: The boundary between skirt wearer and TV
I think that we can agree that skirts-as a general type of garment-belong to everybody.
Or, more specifically, to anybody who wants to wear one.

(I understand that a few of the early electronic computers were analog). You're forgetting the mechanical analogue computers here -- lots of which touched more than a few lives. Here's a few examples: 1) Gunnery computers on naval vessels, 2) Automobile distributors and carburettors, 3) Some of the...
