Re: Sightings "in the wild"
"Perhaps it really is becoming a non-event". I'm sure it is - and about time too. It seems to be much easier nowadays.

Re: Sightings "in the wild"
Was in Norwich on Wednesday and saw a guy wearing a skirt and leggings going into The Forum (Norwich Library). No one really seemed to notice or care apart from me. Norwich is one of the few places I've actually been laughed at when skirt wearing. Some years ago a couple guys on scaffolding in Lond...

Re: Sightings "in the wild"
Popped into York yesterday, kind of on the way past and I had a couple of hours to spare. York must be a hotbed, the last time I was there, it was a short guy in a green dress that stood out. Ive skirted in York city centre once or twice now - always had a good time - noone seems particularly bothe...

Re: Sightings "in the wild"

Re: Going up stairs
Yes, thanks for that Trainspotter. That's pretty much what I do but it's still awkward when both hands are full like in shops or railway stations!

Going up stairs
Hello all, Ive been wearing skirts, on and off, for a long time now. I love the feel of a skirt around my legs so I always wear long skirts - usually ankle length. I have never mastered a good way of walking upstairs in a long skirt, especially when carrying things - shopping bags or whatever. I can...

Re: Sightings "in the wild"
I seem to have seen a few around over the last 3 or 4 months. Much more than usual. I think it's catching on. We need to keep up the momentum now and get out there as much as possible.

Re: Sightings "in the wild"
On a day out in Whiby (North Yorkshire U.K.) on Wednesday of this week I saw a man in a charity shop wearing a below the knee length skirt in black and white knitted looking material, black tights and black boots. A little later that same afternoon I saw a very imposing man, very tall with a well ma...

Re: Sightings "in the wild"
Whilst visiting Durham I spotted a young man - student age I would say, wearing what appeared to be a bi-furcated dress. It was green with a pattern of leaves in cream and came to just below the knee. I though he looked very cool, in both senses of the word.

Re: Sightings "in the wild"
No problem at all. I thought I was agreeing with you and simply emphasising the thrust of your post. Any offence caused is purely accidental and carries my apologies.

Re: Sightings "in the wild"
In England a kilt on a man is nothing , it got to be the thing for all the men and boys at weddings to wear them if the groom had any Scottish heritage ,and that`s without kilted Scottish football fans getting drunk falling over and showing they forgot to put any knickers on ! I am sure very few Sc...
