Sainsburys have a sale on their Tu clothing this week (ends Mon 4th Dec). 25% off. :)
Great, I'll go and visit my local store. Thanks

I often buy my skirts from Sainsburys. Good choice and good price although I do find their sizing varies quite a bit.

Re: Screaminkiwi Kilt

I've bought kilts from Colin at Screamin Kiwi and can also recommend them. I find the length a bit to long but opted to have them altered. My favourite at the moment is his urban/arctic cam style with more pockets than a tool bag. By chance I was in Glasgow on St Andrews day and I got plenty of admi...

Eurovision

I was watching the Eurovision semi finals tonight and was thrilled to see the male dancers for the Croatian act wearing skirts. Looked great and broadcasted to millions of tv viewers over Europe.

Re: Tartanista, London

Hi janrok, The kilt is good for everyday wear. I've had mine for over a year now and it still looks great. I would recommend that it's washed inside out for the first few washes becuase the dye does run. The pleats are sewn in so hold their shape but with it being a heavy fabric I find it takes some...

Re: Utilikilt, noticed or not

When I've worn a Utility Kilt I have definately been noticed and like others have mention it varies from a quick glance to a long seemingly disaproving stare. The only exception to this was last week when we celebrated St Andrews day here in Britain. No one took a second look and I even came accross...

Re: Tartanista, London

Yes I have bought some of my kilts from there. They're ok for the price but found the acrylic material isn't very hard wearing and after a few washes soon looks worn and tired. The heavy cotton utility kilt they do is very good though.

UK based utility kilt ebay store

I thought I'd stop by and let you all know of a new utility kilt retailer that I found based in the UK. I know we all like a bargin and hunting down a good but inexpensive kilt can be a bit of trial and error. I was on ebay recently searching fo a new kilt and found a seller called ScreaminKiwi with...

Re: inexpensive kilts

Has anyone tried one of their Utility Kilts at £49.99 ? I'm temped to try one at some stage. John Hi John, Yes I have one of their Utility KiIlts. It's quite a heavy being made from cotton and you certainly notice this when wearing it. The sewn down pleats makes ironing it after washing quite easy,...

Re: do you wear tights or not

Yes, for me it's a matter of which skirt I'm going to wear with my tights rather than which tights to wear with my skirt. I've always liked the look and feel of them and when the legs are shaved find they compliment a skirt. My journey to discover this came from my prefernce for wearing shorts which...

Re: Budget Utility Kilt

Well it's had quite a few washes now but hasn't lost it's stiffness. Thats partly because it is a heavy denim which I'm sure a fabric conditioner will sort out. On a positive note though the wife commented on how heavy it is which I saw as a green light for getting a lighter skirt

Budget Utility Kilt

I decided last week that it was time for a new kilt. My budget has always dictated that I get a wool blend material which I know is a false economy because they just don't last but needs must. So I headed for my preferred on-line supplier and was surprised to see that they now do a heavy cotton util...

I like to wear Cette pantyhose. They're a Belgian brand. They look and feel wonderful but more importantly they fit amazingly well and are quite durable.

R1g0r, Sorry if you've had this question before but I'm intrigued as to how you are able to dress so openly especially when at work. The style you wear makes for very encouraging reading for those of us who wear our outfits behind closed doors wishing we could drum up the courage to step outside let...
