Re: Any peacocks out there?

I think for the first time in my life, I actually like being noticed! Not sure how that change came about, but I do feel somewhat liberated. Granted, being a peacock is a personal choice, and like everyone else on this forum, we must find our own style and comfort level. I agree, sometimes it may f...

Re: Underskirts

Will silence those who make the association of kilt or skirt wearing men with traditional Scotsmen who go commando, no need for them to approach you as a total stranger and enquire whether you are wearing anything under it. And your kilt or skirt will need much less washing if you wear liner when y...

Re: Unanimity

I do think that 9/10ths of the problem with men wearing a skirt is fear. If all men that wanted to, or fancied wearing a skirt, went out on one day in the confidence that others would also wear one, the problem would be resolved.

Re: Do you wear pink when wearing your skirt?

Pink is a colour I like and do wear, although my wife's son and grandson hate it for some unknown reason.

A good article. The question was answered in a very positive way, with very good helpful advice.

Re: Purse or Man's Bag

I do find a shoulder bag a necessity these days, even in winter if wearing a coat with pockets. Why, because I usually carry my wallet, mobile phone, camera, spare carrier bag, pair of glasses, pen & paper and anything I may need. I would guess I have seven or eight different ones in varying siz...

Re: Too Feminine - is there a tipping point ?

Too Feminine - is there a tipping point ? I think the answer has got to be yes, although where it is will vary from person to person. A good example of this is looking from the opposite side at what women wear and hairstyles etc. If a woman has short hair and wears a sharp business suit, or even jea...

Re: Purse or Man's Bag

I assumed, obviously wrongly, that shoulder bags would now be common in the US as well as Europe. Over here we have a great selection, some designed for women but a vast number of unisex designs and others created for men.

Anyones skirt wearing influenced by christmas?

This probably sounds strange but I have been. Why? The simple reason is in the run up to xmas and into the new year the chances of friends and relations just turning up is greatly increased. I therefore have been wearing a kilt during this period rather than the usual skirt. I know I'm safe with thi...

Re: Budget Utility Kilt

The kilts look very good value. Not a web site I've come accross before but I've made a note of it for the future, as I don't need any more kilts at the moment.

Re: Purse or Man's Bag

It's not so many years ago that in the UK, possibly seven or eight, that carrying a shoulder bag was considered strange. Now, when you look at people walking around, both the young and old carry them. A small but welcome change in what is acceptable.

Re: Issues with Nair hair removal

Not quite the same problem but I suffer from dry skin on my face and have to put moisturiser on to counteract this. Usually my creams work, however other times they can bring me out in a rash. However, the strange bit is, sometimes a cream will cause a rash, other times it will help ease a rash. Bryan

Re: An unexpected comment

My wife's grand daughter aged 10 used to call me dodgy shorts man when I wore shorts in the summer. Then after getting married in a kilt she called me dodgy skirt man. However since then, whenever I see her, she wants to know why I'm not wearing a "skirt" if I'm wearing trousers!!! Anyone ...

Re: High Heels!

Dennis, "but I can't imagine wearing high-heel pumps all day. Ah, how noble the vanity, that women would suffer so in the name of fashion!" But then again, they don't have to wear neck ties, do they? sasq I agee so far, but women don't have to wear them if they don't want, in quite a few ...
