Re: Doing away with "Embracing feminity"
I agree with Mouse’s views but I also agree with what CR is saying. After reading all of this I am coming to the conclusion that the younger generation (Mouse’s son and his mates) are much more accepting and explorative regarding breaking out of the Man-Box. On the other hand, I believe that folks t...

Re: Mississipi School Discriminate Transgender Girl
Unfortunately this is not surprising at all. It is the Southeastern United States. It is known for being the home of Bible thumping conservatives that live the hunter-gatherer mindset on a daily basis. It is sometimes referred to as “ Hillbilly Country” and therefore it is not unbelievable that in 2...

Re: Doing away with "Embracing feminity"
I always feel at peace with myself and calm and relaxed when I embrace my feminine side. ---SNIP--- I think all guys should be in touch with their feminine side and dress up more often and what a better world it would be for it. I completely agree and have incorporate my feminine presentation into ...

Re: Doing away with "Embracing feminity"
In addition to flamers and drag queens, men who take on made up feminine names and pretend to be women when they present en femme , harm our cause. John John, this is very true. Men that attempt to deceive everyone into believing that they are women are very harmful to the concept of fashion freedo...

I agree with Bart. It is all about how you carry yourself with confidence. Get a Trump Bumber Sticker on you Pickup Truck, and you will be fine. Only kidding.

Re: Doing away with "Embracing feminity"
Moon, I believe that there is a difference between acting feminine and acting like a flamer which is way, way over the top exaggerating and mocking feminine mannerisms. I am a feminine, male, soft spoken and gentle in nature, but if you hear me speak, I could never be mistaken for a flamer. Just lik...

Re: Where will we be in say... ten years?
Until the majority of men view their existing clothing options as inadequate, there will be no change. We will be here on SkirtCafe in the same place 10 years from now. We need to remember that the average Joe views clothing as totally utilitarian and goes to Costco to purchase 10 identical trousers...

Re: Hypothethical Question
I believe that the first order to rebellion for men that do not currently wear skirts is to reject the necktie! I will never forget the state of the union address several months ago. Behind Joe Biden were Kamala Harris and Mike Johnson. Kamala and Mike were waring identical clothing, however Kamela ...

Re: Dua Lipa’s SNL performance featuring skirted male dancers
Is it possible for men to follow the same path that women followed when the started wearing trousers? The path that they followed created fashion freedom that they enjoy today. Women wanted to participate in men’s activities so they started wearing trousers. Most men do not want participate in women...

Re: Hypothethical Question
CR, Pantyhose and heels are definitely not necessary. I wear them when getting really dressed-up for an occasion. On most days, just a skirt and women’s low-heel sandals or ballet flats. I am trying to be a good citizen here on the Cafe, so I hope that my response was not offensive to anyone. It is ...

I would just wear a skirt and a blouse along with pantyhose and heels.

Re: International Men Can Wear Dresses Day
On the other hand, though, if they adopt it full time it'll pretty much guarantee that they'll be alone for the rest of their lives because most women will not tolerate " that sort of thing " in an intimate relationship. Women will pay lip-service to the idea in a platonic sense but will ...
