Re: Lacking confidence

Hey there, Stephanie! Speaking as one of the "veterans" of skirt wearing, I have to say your outfit looked nice, and while you felt nervousness, perhaps even apprehension about wearing a skirt as short as what you sported in your picture, I'm pleased that concern didn't stop you from going out. We h...

That's a big, fat MEH from me. Doesn't move the needle even a little.

Re: Earthbound Trading Unisex Dress

Nothing particularly great, style wise, but, at least it's affordable.

Re: Article in The Sunday Times

The problem I see is not the concept, it is the price attached. The target demographic would be so small as to be practically zero. I don't know of many women who would pay $150 for an every day dress etc , let alone men who would consider these prices for something that probably wouldn't see the l...

Re: Article in The Sunday Times

https://archive.is/OOF76 "Mirts" Really? The skirt and jacket(?) combo almost gets it right. A bit longer and it could work for me, though I'd prefer the look as a tunic, and without the hairy legs and socks. At just over $1,500 bucks US, that's a hard "NO" from me. Besides, it's absolutely fugly!

Very nice. A clean, casual style that works practically everywhere.

Re: Skirt Storage

Most of my skirts are folded in half backwards and stored on shelves or plastic boxes. Not ideal for some skirts nor for finding a particular item. Here is another version: https://www.picclickimg.com/d/l400/pict/264051441726_/Vintage-Metal-Multiple-Skirt-or-Pant-Hanger-6.jpg I use something simila...

It was one of religious types who think everyone is going to Hell if they don't do what they think the Lord says about anything at all. She worked at Wal-Mart If heaven means an eternity with people like that... ... hard pass! I'll keep wearing my feminine clothes. To quote the renowned William Mar...

I’d read that if you sit in the car waiting for the right opportunity to get out, you probably never will.
I quite agree. I was there once myself. In hindsight, it was all so needless.

Re: Hi everyone

Pete: I've been suitably impressed with your adventures at the office where you work. I must say you have done very well, keep up the great work! As for wearing dresses, they can be very much a hit or miss proposition since, as others here have already said, those garments weren't made for me. I wea...

Re: That rare male compliment

The number of compliments I've gotten from men are far and few inbetween. But one I'll always remember was from some ten years ago when I was leaving a bookstore, wearing a denim a-line skirt that fell below my knees with a pair of high heeled knee boots, as I was walking out, two guys were going in...

Re: Sitting in Skirts and Kilts

I've never worn a kilt, but, when it comes to skirts (or, in my case, dresses), I sit with my legs crossed either at the knees or ankles. That's as natural to me as breathing. In addition, I always smooth the back of my skirt before I sit, that's also natural to me.

Re: Teenager wearing a dress harassed by inbred Tennessee hillbilly

I read about the story yesterday which is all over social media. It was good that the knuckledragging CEO was given the boot for his heinous behavior.
