I've worn tights from Primark a lot, everything from 30 denier to 200, and, so far, I haven't had any issues.

In my collective memory, no one's ever asked me if I were transgender, though, like JohnH, I've had people call me "Miss" or "Ma'am". I've always found that amusing.

Congrats on your outing. As others have said, no one pays any attention to a guy in a skirt because they’re too wrapped up in their own lives and affairs to give us the time of day. The more you venture out, the more your confidence will grow.

I’ve recently taken up wearing hats on my outdoor jaunts. I especially love big brimmed floppy hats which look both stylish and feminine. Short and sweet, they’re a lot of fun!
