Re: Stumbled across this

A bit pricey for what it is but could be good in hot weather (out of the sun). I was interested to see the different models for some of the colours, different figures and good to see one that was a different gender as well. $68 bucks, for leggings? Pfft! I can score the same things at Old Navy for ...

Re: Are you driving up the Skirt sales?

I'm rather surprised about that, given how most people have been working at home because of the virus and don't have to dress up. You'd think the price raise would be on sweats, not skirts. Interesting!

Re: Skirt ??????

Even the seller is not sure if this is a skirt of a top. https://www.picclickimg.com/d/l400/pict/293167037390_/Women-EDWIN-genuine-quality-denim-strapless-bustier-top-mini.jpg https://picclick.com.au/Women-EDWIN-genuine-quality-denim-strapless-bustier-top-mini-293167037390.html Hmm! Re: Men's Kilt by Dangerfied in stores

I've debated getting my ears pierced so I can wear regular earrings instead of clip-ons which I sport on my outings as I don't fully dressed without them. Tattoos? NAHHHHHH! I'll pass. I don't even like getting ink on my fingertips from a busted pen, never mind having someone use my skin as a canvas.

Re: what to wear underneath?

10 denier? Whoa! I had no idea numbers went that low! Talk about super sheer! And a few months ago, I wore 200 denier tights on a winter outing! Hiya JeffB I don't wear more than 15 denier ever - typically 10. They can get sheerer still though - I also have a lot of 7 and 6 denier stockings. ...

Re: GQ articles

I am a tea drinker and I know how to make a nice pot of tea without tea bags. Bring a kettle of water to a full rolling boil, let cool to about 190 degrees F. Take your favorite type of tea leaves and put in a pre-warmed tea pot, Pour the water into the pot and let steep for about three minutes. Po...

Re: GQ articles

Perhaps men in skirts has, in it's own way, become mainstream. Heaven knows I've never had any problems wearing skirts public on crowded downtown streets and in packed shopping malls and no one bats an eye. Of course, that might also be seen as indifference from the public at large, still, the fact ...

Re: The Art of Wearing a Miniskirt

Being comfortable and confident in your choice of clothing in general is the greatest factor in being able to "pull it off" as Jeff says. Short skirt, long skirt or questionable swimwear if you can't be comfortable you won't enjoy so it rather defeats the object. Quite right. Something else to take...

Re: The Art of Wearing a Miniskirt

Thanks for the comments, everybody! Much appreciated!

Now, I'll agree that miniskirts are not for everyone, and even I had doubts about them in the beginning. But, if you can pull it off and have the courage to do so, wearing a mini makes for a fabulous experience.

Re: The Art of Wearing a Miniskirt

Great. Compliments from another purveyor of the mini skirt. Looking forward to more tips, particularly when you get to "picking things up off the floor" and "reaching for things on the bottom shelf in a supermarket". Ask, and you shall receive. My advice for both is to keep your back straight and l...

The Art of Wearing a Miniskirt

When I started wearing skirts in public back in 2008, I was originally content to wear styles that fell to my knee, just above or just below. At the time, I wasn’t at all comfortable wearing anything shorter than that since I hadn’t as yet built up the confidence I felt I needed for that. After litt...

First time out in a dress last night, only to the local convenience shop for a bottle of wine.

All the nerves of my first wearing of skirts in public came rushing back. But as expected a bit of a non event
Glad to read you survived. Heh!

Re: Pockets differences

This is certainly a way of making more of a feature of pockets: https://www.picclickimg.com/d/l400/pict/324553131259_/Sass-Bide-denim-skirt-size-42-new.jpg quite a few of my skirts and shorts (dare I say shorts here?) do that pocket dangley thing below the hemline. I think that's fairly normal for ...
