Re: Men in skirts links

The Men in Skirts Links: Things change, including relevant links. I have checked the "official" list and pretty many are no longer functioning: Message Boards (English) Functioning X Marks The Scot Utilikilt Group Map showing the home towns of male skirt wearers. No longer functioning Men in Skirts...

Those reel leads may be fine for the smaller dog but if a large one decides to take off on one they can build up quite a momentum before you can press the button to stop it.
Yes. I have had an accident, resulting in bleeding knees.

It is a Thompson Camel, Tom, as you might better see on this picture, also showing the dog. As to the reel lead, I have also tried more conventional ones but have gone back to the reel.

Re: Walking the dog (not a euphemism, lol)

When taking the dog out – which always means walking down the road and into the woods – I will nine out of ten days wear a kilt, either traditional or utility or other kind of skirt. https://dress2kilt.eu/images1_thompson_camel/tc_105.jpg On the remaining day out of ten I will be in pants, shorts mo...

Re: Has anyone else worn a really short skirt out and about

Like Stu, it is for me not a question of daring to wear the shortest possible skirt. Most of my skirts are kilts, in my case ending at the top of my knee. My other skirts are at the shortest, like this one, 18.5” or 47 cm, compared to kilt length 22.5” or 57 cm. https://dress2kilt.eu/images_liebste/...

Re: Pyjama Skirt?

The idea with a pyjama skirt is good, I think. But the Wish company has an extremely bad image.

Re: How old were you . . . . ?

I was about 6, I think. My grandmother was talking about something she had been told or perhaps even seen, a family she knew about and where the son had to wear girls’ clothes for a period of time when he didn’t behave. Everyone present found it completely out of place, but would soon after go on wi...

Re: Biker Bar

I have similar good experience with bikers. I had had a coffee at a gas station and when I went back to my car I could see about ten bikers on their machines were on each side of it. They all looked at me when approaching and when I was at the car they all greeted almost heartedly, like had I been o...

Re: To Kilt or not to kilt?

Dust, I think you’re right, assuming that a tartan kilt will stand more out than other kinds of skirts. And so it must with all its colours. At least I have more reactions when in a tartan kilt than when in an ordinary skirt or utility kilt. That said; I feel the tartan kilt is much better accepted....

Re: Sightings "in the wild"

Its Just using the one name for Kilts and the similar skirts , As far as I am aware The Kilt and the skirt are normally worn by different genders. In my experience in a Scottish Kilt wearing community , the male wears the Traditional Scottish Kilt and the female wears a female skirt..... I would st...

Re: Out and About -- In the World at Large

We stopped in a town in Arkansas for gas and lunch, and I popped into a Walmart to buy some sodas and beer, only to discover it was a dry county. I didn’t think such things existed outside Utah, but that revelation was enough for me to become aware of the odd looks. No wonder, those people are the ...
