Carl, try the Nikon D-90. It's a wonderful SLR, and does a lot of stuff with knobs, dials, etc. You can see exactly what your exposure will be by looking at the top of the camera. Yes, it also does point-and-shoot. But get over that and just turn it off if you don't like it. Info tech has done more ...

It's a nice "problem" to have. If the light is not bright enough, motorists see no reason to give you the right of way, even when it's yours. Finally, I get the respect that every vehicle on the road deserves.

Yes, I spent $150 on flashlight, actually a bicycle headlight. The thing is amazing. It fits in my hand and is as bright as a car headlight. The first time I used it at night was a real awakening. In my humble opinion, I think that anyone who wears a skirt on a plane is nuts. Look around, there are always a few but not many. How will you manage when you have to climb over someone to get to the aisle and go pee --- or someone else is climbing over YOU?
