Re: Warning: Cooking will turn your son gay

Fred, if you’re referring to the Michelin star system, you’re going to struggle to find a five star restaurant. One, two or three stars is your choice - with three being the highest rating.

I’m not aware of any other star rating system.

Notwithstanding all of the above, I get your point.

You seem to have missed my point completely. You’re responding with blocks and rebuttals - almost for the sake of it - and you fail to see the simple logic in what I suggest.

I will consider how to respond - and whether it’s worth it. I’m not sure it is.

Re: World leaders and skirts

Funny how we can play as one team (rugby Union) including another country (republic of Ireland) without rancour, yet unifying football teams causes uproar?

Re: World leaders and skirts

I agree with your comments - but stupid is stupid, no matter how long it has been going on for. One legal system. One U.K. bank - called the U.K. bank One education system One representative at all sports, competitions etc. It’s not much to ask, is it? For the unification of the wider nation? Do wha...

Re: World leaders and skirts

Not sure Northumberland would like to be annexed by Scotland on the rebuilding of Hadrian’s Wall. Mind you, they might like it… The UK is a mess. Time to sort it out - or allow elements to go their own way if that’s the will of the departing entity. I’d rather we stayed together in theory, but when ...

Re: Corona Virus

New virus mutation in South Africa. Now on the forbidden list in England (with the rest of the U.K. sure to follow). Bang goes my Jan 22 holiday there. Again.

That’s what happens when you don’t vaccinate enough. The damned thing mutates.

Harry Styles in Dazed magazine

Harry Styles going for it - and showing some good looks. The green jumper and skirt combo looks good.

Nice skirt, but I wish it were not made of polyester. That’s really bad for the environment.

Re: Corona Virus

Ray, there have been documented instances of very fit young men, marathon runners even, who have contracted covid and died. Fitness is no respecter where the virus is concerned. No disrespect, Ray, but he is a fool using such logic to justify not getting the vaccination when his life depends upon i...

Re: Men's Skirt Brand Launch

The boot pics are of a woman. The nails have nail varnish on, the skirt sits on hips, and the legs are bare. Contrast that with the pics with white trainers. Hairy legs, plain nails.

Just saying.

I think it’s great that the school picked up on this idea by the children. It’s a really positive step.

Dennis - I agree with your recent views on this.

Re: Corona Virus

My younger brother (34) elected not to get vaccinated, reasoning that as a 3:30 marathon runner, he was fit enough to deal with it. He’s got Covid, and he’s feeling rotten. The rest of the family are laughing their heads off at this - and winding him up all the time about it. Serves him right! ;-)

Re: Hola!: Bad Bunny rocks pink hair, a skirt, and face pearls on the cover of Allure

Good look.

No mention of the fact that he’s wearing tights and what looks like heels. If these things aren’t worthy of mention, that’s got to be a positive sign, right?

Re: Corona Virus

Uncle Al, You could have posted a well thought out response, stating your (presumably) oppsung view, with supporting facts. You didn’t. You posted incorrect (8, not 4) information, and two pictures that added nothing to the debate. I’m disappointed. I had hoped you might respond like the intelligent...
