Shrewsbury U.K. , today.
Young chap, mildly androgynous, knee length brown skirt, grey tights, shoes unknown, walking along with two friends, both male, trousered.
I was with two female colleagues. Both were very relaxed aboit what they saw.

Re: Skirts, Pants, and Deuteronomy 22:5
Steve, was it not James VI (6), not James IV (4) who became James I of England (& Wales)?

Re: What have you discovered through wearing skirts and dresses?
I did. In 2008 I met a woman. From the outset I stated that I had an expanded clothing range including skirts, tights and heels.
She was okay with that. She’s now my wife. She’s still okay with me wearing what I want. Well, less so the heels!

Yesterday in Birmingham, UK A tall lanky gent. Must have been approaching 7 ft tall. (2m 15cm). Very skinny. Mostly legs. Long braided hair, looked like Iggy Pop. Black top, black T-shirt, short black skirt and about 4 feet of long skinny legs clad in thick black tights. I think the footwear was doc...

Well, there you are. God says there is neither male nor female, thereby validating the argument that gender is non-binaryrivegauche wrote: ↑Mon Mar 04, 2024 2:08 pm

Re: Skirts, Pants, and Deuteronomy 22:5
A very insightful article. I’m not sure I agree with the rationale for the U.K. not getting hung up on 22.5. Scots wearing kilts are cited as a reason. I’d suggest that the main reason is that the U.K. is not that religious. In 2023, over 50% of those questioned in a survey stated that they did not ...

Re: More gender neutral retail
Rivegauche I did a quick Google search and it appears that UO are present in all parts of the U.K. when if they are not in all major cities (None in Aberdeen). Normally I’d echo your comments which are utterly valid (look how many people stupidly conflate England with the UK) - but in this case, Urb...

Re: Silly reasons for wearing a skirt.
Power cut when I got dressed this morning. Couldn’t see a thing.
Half price shorts. Only the one leg, mind.
It’s a rain guard for my shorts. Problem is, I forgot my shorts.

Jeff,
Don’t you dare leave! You’re an inspiration to so many of us - not necessary because of your particular clothing direction, but more because of your “can do” attitude.
This isn’t HHPlace. We’re a bit more tolerant here. Well, most of us
