Re: Corona Virus

B&B - I, like you, read the article and was similarly emotionally affected. I lost a friend to Covid last month. He was 47 abc had MS, so had a compromised immune system. This thing kills, and to not vaccinate can condemn people to death. I despise the wilfully unvaccinated. They cause death. They a...

Re: Corona Virus

Ray, I would like to point out a few more things: The vaccins are under a Emergency Use Application. Getting the jabs is on voluntary basis. At this very moment the long term effects of the jabs are unknown. Omicron, according to the South African data, doesn't differentiate between vaccinated and ...

Re: Windsor Tweed Suit

Stevie,

Yes. It’s way better for the environment, for one. Clothing kills the environment. Cheap fast fashion is abhorrent to me.

It also fits and looks better.

Re: First steps in tights

I’m with Midas. If you don’t like hosiery, don’t wear it. Go bare legged.

For those who just don’t get it, that’s okay too. I personally find the tactility to be fantastic for both sheer and opaque hosiery, and they work so well with skirts, from both a visual and comfort perspective.

Re: Vogue: How Men’s Fashion Changed for the Better This Year

Hi Dust, Britain = Great Britain, no difference. It is the largest of the British Isles, On it are the countries of England, Scotland and Wales. The United Kingdom is England, Scotland, Wales and also Northern Ireland, which is part of the island of Ireland, the rest of Ireland being a republic. Th...

Re: Vogue: How Men’s Fashion Changed for the Better This Year

Dust There is no queen of England. She’s the queen of the United Kingdom, or the queen of Britain (not Great Britain). Calling her the queen of England is like me calling Biden the president of Texas. Please do try to refrain from confusing England with the U.K. it’s borderline offensive to non Engl...

Re: Windsor Tweed Suit

I’ve got one. About £1500 ($2,000) for a three piece.

It’s bloody worth it though. What an amazing suit. The trouser seat doesn’t wear out either…;-)
