I forgot to mention. The Sevilla tights come in some great colours (edit - but not if you’re anything other than petite - sadly. Seems many colours are discontinued)

Re: Sheer tights and pantyhose
Some thoughts on silky sheer tights. Cecilia de Rafael are superb. Try their Eterno Super Lucido 20, or even the 10 denier choice. They are more expensive than supermarket tights, but they feel and look far better. Even the Sevilla tights are pretty good from the same brand, but at a lower price. Tr...

Re: skirtcraft
I’ve looked at the sport kilt website. I’m really not impressed. A velcro closure, no mention of the material, suggesting some man made environmental horror, and a lack of proper pleats. It’s a pastiche of a proper kilt, and it’s cheap and nasty. I’d rather get a Skirtcraft skirt. On the kilt front,...

Far from being a huge Janus, that’s quite compact. A whole lot smaller.

Ryder Cup
The current Ryder Cup reminds me of seeing it live in 2014 in Gleneagles, Scotland, UK. There, I witnessed about 10 USA supporters, lined up, all in Stars and Stripes kilts. It was a fabulous sight to see!

Re: Shaven legs
Jim, I prefer myself with shaved legs, am agnostic on men being hairy or not, and prefer women to have smooth legs.
Otherwise I am in agreement with you on the points you make.

Re: Shaven legs
As I’m not that hairy, a twice a week shave does the trick. Clothes feel fab (especially sheer tights), legs look clean and presentable. Works for me, but I understand if others don’t want to shave.

Re: Can men now get their legs out in the office?
I shave my legs. My legs, my choice. My wife is okay with it, and if she wasn’t, she wouldn’t be my wife.
It’s a non-event. Really.

Re: The desert at night
There’s something awe-inspiring about a desert overnight.
I stayed overnight in a (posh) tent in Wadi Rum, Jordan (think Star Wars rise of Skywalker, Dune, The Martian - all filmed there) in 2024, and the sky was blazing with stars. Again, an absolute silence. Hugely memorable.

Carl, I heartily agree. I have it on DVD and it’s a magnificent production.
Re: UFOs
What technology is that? How do you go faster than light - which you will need to? The energy required to bend space-time is estimated* to be colossal. * I don’t deny that there may be a way of bending space and time without vast amounts of energy, but there’s no sign of that as yet. Star Trek is no...

Grok, I’d love to believe there are aliens, but space is just too big for interstellar travel
