Re: Dresses

The interesting (and great) thing about dresses is the multitude of styles in which they are available: they can hang from the shoulders, from below the breast, from the waist, or the hips. They can be tight on any part of the body, or loose and swingy as you move; they can be of any length from sca...

Re: Washing a viscose skirt

This is probably what's called a "broomstick skirt", because its crinkle is pretty much the same as results from having been wrapped around a broomstick as it dries. You don't really need a broomstick. Just wash it, but don't put it in the dryer. Instead wring it dry by winding it from wai...

Re: What did *you* wear "out and about" today? part2

Wore my 46 cm (18 inch) long Bear Kilt with a polo shirt running various errands today. As usual, nobody noticed. I think that we who are more aware of fashion choices overestimate how much attention most folks pay to such details. Most people don't notice and couldn't care less. Works for me.

Yes, we've won!

Indeed, we have won! Get over it! Get out and enjoy the freedom we've won and stop fretting over "what might happen". Nothing will happen! Now, I'm speaking here to people in civilised countries with a reasonable sense of taste. If you go out in a denim skirt that covers your crotch, you m...
