This popped up in my YouTube feed shorts, and the point made I thought was just what we need to think to get out of the door in our latest or first skirt.

Ha, ha. That might work. The problem most have is getting to an attitude like that.
For me, I've been wearing just kilts and skirts for more than two years now. I don't really even think about it at all. It just is what I do. I don't worry about what others think or like.

She's right, in two respects.
Best way and very hard to achieve.
It takes a hell of a lot of hard practice, nerve and often tears.
Worth the effort, but never underestimate what it takes either.

I don't think I ever achieved that level of confidence, and if I had to wait for it, I'd still be waiting. There are still some days when I wonder if the skirt or dress that I am wearing really maybe looks just a little bit weird in me. But I never let that deter me anymore.

“The bee’s knees”? Who says “the bee’s knees” these days? Anyhoo, it never hurts to have a positive attitude, life is too damn short to worry about the world around you. Sure, for some, that mindset isn’t easy to achieve, but, I’m of the belief it can be done.

If you follower her channel, she is in to 60s, 70s fashion, so I guess “the bee’s knees” phrase is age appropriate to her fashion?

Not one to dicker over trivial points, usually, but "bees knees" is more of a WWII era phrase.
