FINALLY - DNKE has brought out what I really would like to have :D
Sadly, it's out of my price rance :(

I guess it will be regular bib-overall, converted into a overall skirt, as a D.I.Y. :|

Could this be termed a Pinifore dress? Would something like this be an approximation https://amzn.eu/d/7f8FQxQ ? Is the skirt being kilt like the important bit?

Somewhat like a pinafore dress but not all of those are so open at the sides, in the under arm areas.

I guess that the skirt being kilt-like helps men get over the fact that it is a type of pinafore dress. :)

Probably could do with a blacksmith's hammer as a prop and standing in front of a black Dodge Ram to complete the marketing.

I think DNKE didn't quite get denimini's memo. The axe doesn't look to me as if it has seen a tree recently, and he is holding it, as if he has just been given it to hold for a picture....IMHO🤠

Maybe this is a better image of the Overkilt?

Love the socks, and you get dogs in the picture for the dog lovers....

Sheesh, it's a dress, a dress and nothing but a damn dress!
The "Over" and "Kilt" is just marketing hype to pander to the fragile sensibilities and insecurities of some men.
As for that ax, I guess that's to attract the homocidal sector of the market.
Overkilt equals overkill and certainly does nothing in terms of fashion freedom.
Steve.

I agree with you Stevie.
It's a dress!

Yeah, I would wear something like that. However, that one is a bit pricy and is too long for my short legs.

Mind you don't trip on that plug.
Nice idea but maybe not as practical as it looks at first glance. An angle grinder creates a lot of wind. I once created a tent to keep the dust at bay. Switched on the grinder on and it sucked my home made tent in with disastrous results. My wife is still laughing about it.
Need I say more?

From County Keystone, I assume?
According to some "authorities", if one adds belt loops to a "traditional" Kilt it becomes a skirt!
I must say that this garment, (for want of a more pithy title), has got no chance.
Just a thought KK Kilt Kops are just one K away from a completely different set of dress codes.

Precisely. I did not think that reference would be lost.

To quote a lyric from Tom Lehrer's I Wanna Go Back to Dixie: "I want to dine with Southern Gentlemen // and put that white sheet on again. // I ain't seen one good lynchin' in years." A man ahead of his time. He'd have a field day today, but, as he pointed up -- perhaps apocryphally -- "In a world where Henry Kissinger can win the Nobel Peace Prize, there is no room for satire."
