I sometimes wear opaque thick black tights when I’m not wearing leggings but the problem with tights is that they are slightly see through sheer which makes them look a bit feminine and I do feel shy when wearing them. Anyway, I bought 3 pack pairs of 100 denier opaque black tights hoping that they would have a solid opaque look just like leggings but unfortunately they have a slight see through sheer look. I was wondering if there is a particular denier I should look for when looking for tights that have the tightness round my legs but the solid opaque look of leggings?

I don't know your location but in the UK the more expensive black opaques in M&S are pretty opaque.

That’s good to know as I’m in the UK and a brand new M&S has opened where I reside. I’ll take a look. Ultimately I’m looking for 300 denier.

Those tights look ideal though I see they are 60 denier. The tights I bought are 100 denier but still look slightly transparent sheer on my legs. Maybe the reason for that is that they are a bit small for me at XL and becasue I'm a big guy when I wear them they stretch hence the reason they look slightly transparent. I’m needing plus size to obtain the solid opaque of thick tights.

The 'winter weight' tights are Microfiber - you can't see through them
Even the 'summer weight' tights are not thin, you can't see through them

I get the size 1/2(that's 1 to 2) to cover my hip size - 46" That also covers
my stomach size - 46". I'm 6' 2" tall and 220lbs. They're soft and comfortable.
They don't pinch tender things

I rechecked the page and could not find any info on 'denier' for these Microfiber tights.
I've tried 400D hose and these Silky Tights beat the 400D hose by a long shot
From my experience, you can't see through them and my shoes slide on quite nicely

that's probably all it is is sizing, I've used glamory brand 60 denier and they a pretty opaque, I always ignore the weight and buy based of height, but I'm skinny.

It is the slight opacity that I find particularly appealing with tights. My go to for tights is here. When I stand they are totally black and you can't see anything through them, but if I sit they become slightly transparent around the knees and thigh - which is, for me at least, a great look and I don't see it as being exclusively something that should be reserved for the female of the species

That is exactly what the 100 denier tights I bought are like. They are opaque when I stand up but when I sit down they become slightly see through and sheer at my knees and thighs. I find this very sexy but at the same time it makes me feel very self conscious. I must admit I have a tights fetish and love seeing women wearing very sheer black tights which are pantyhose and find it very sexually arousing.

I am not sure that you need to worry about wearing something that makes you feel good. Many things I wear, make me feel good.

Yeah, I’m really tempted to wear those tights out shopping as they make me feel good wearing them. I’d even like to be adventurous and wear fishnet tights. One thing I’ve noticed is that when I’m buying tights I seem to find it sexually arousing which I don’t get when buying leggings, skirts and dresses and I love leggings, skirts amd dresses.. I think it’s the humiliation and excitement of buying a form of clothing that I personally find sexy that does it for me and the thought of what the girl at the check out is thinking I find sexually arousing.

As long as everything is taking place inside your own head there is no problem. We all have stray thoughts about who we meet and what we see and feel. The important thing is that all things stay in your head and do not affect the outward you in what you say or do.
