These two are called nightgowns but are really just uber-comfy lounging dresses with pockets and a choice of short or long sleeves. I have two of the one with a hood, front pouch and long sleeves, and I almost live in them 7/24. I have worn both in public and not felt the least bit underdressed. Other than the fact that they are dresses, they don't particularly say "feminine". I do feel a bit like a cosplay monk in the hooded one.

This cami-style slip could also be worn as a dress if you have the body for it. I usually use mine (I now have 6, in various colours and lengths) as an extra layer in winter or just for sleeping and/or lounging. I also use them as the 2nd layer under a shirt-dress that is slit too far up the side for my comfort. I need the 3X. It doesn't need big chest bumps to look right, but some extra pec development is probably better than none because of the triangular shape of the coverage in that area. Straps falling off shoulders is about equal to most of my camis: a minor irritant easily made irrelevant by the sheer comfort of a cami. These say "hand wash only" so I figure wearing them into the shower would qualify, right?

These have "camisole" and "spaghetti strap" in the description, though neither actually applies. Those descriptions are just search engine hacks. I like these a lot, as either an underlayer or for sleepwear. Sufficiently body-shape neutral; basically just a long wifebeater. I also will wear one of these with a side-slitted dress, but never as a dress in public on its own; they are too thin for that. I often wear one under the dresses described in the first paragraph, for extra warmth.

These have come in very handy since I wore out the heels on my favourite pointy boots. Gotta be careful getting the right size.

The cami style slip:
A nice simple lbs - shame the shoulder straps are adjustable for the right breast fit - but then you mentioned strap slippage and that is usually a sign of not enough breast in a cup (bra fitting 101) - but otherwise the dress is elegant. A touch too long for my personal liking - and I wouldn't wear it out as I would be a bit too self conscious of my boobage dept on display.

The heel tips:
Thats an occupational hazard of thinner high heels - they wear quickly if you walk around a bit. I get my heels regularly re heeled - and it costs a bit so these look like a good option.

The heel hunks
I have a similar thing - have had them for perhaps 10 years and they slip over the stiletto heels - and they have a wider round disc at the bottom so I can go on grass or gravel - although gravel still hurts under my toes in the taller heels - so it doesn;t solve that issue - but it does protect the heels from being scuffed if they sink.

I get that for sure, but, are there not any times when you could see yourself just letting it all rock? In your body I almost certainly would find some such times.

Yes it's true that more boobage would alleviate so much strap slippage. I may get around to unpicking the straps at the back and moving them closer to the spine. I have done that with a couple of camisoles and it works rather well.

aligning the straps on the back inwards more would do it - or turn the back into a cross over back strap dress?
as for dressing more extravaafantly - well yes I can and I do - but I would wear a skirt/jacket or shorts/jacket combo without a blouse/top - as an example - shows my cleavage but not from all directions like a slip dress does. Also I'd choose a heavier weight dress like a jacquard fabric that is lined etc as it is less boob revealing if you know what I mean, especially if off shoulder or a bra is not an option.
