Skirt Cafe is an on-line community dedicated to exploring, promoting and advocating skirts and kilts as a fashion choice for men, formerly known as men in skirts. We do this in the context of men's fashion freedom --- an expansion of choices beyond those commonly available for men to include kilts, skirts and other garments. We recognize a diversity of styles our members feel comfortable wearing, and do not exclude any potential choices. Continuing dialog on gender is encouraged in the context of fashion freedom for men. See here for more details.
If you're new to the Cafe, please grab a seat by the potted palm, settle down with a nice big latte, and tell us a little bit about yourself. Please also look here for forum principles and rules.
Hi to all the old crew and all the new members since I have been inactive.
It's been about 3 years since I last posted. 4 back operations and a few complications later! It's a long story...
Still wearing kilts and skirts nearly all the time I now feel I can actively participate again.
One thing I do know for shure is that skirts are the perfect garment when you have a bad back.
Besides you are garanteed to get great comments from the nurses when you walk out of hospital in a skirt
Cheers
Rob
If you haven't worn a skirt you haven't found freedom!
Egads, Rob! Hopefully the complications have all been sorted out.
As good as can be. I will have ongoing back problems for the rest of my life but there is nothing I can do about it so just have to get the most out of life I can! Skirted middle aged man with a bad back on a Disability Pension. Now there is an image getting around town
