What a treat! If any of you have access to BBC iplayer then this is a must-see. Not my usual viewing, but here is a competition on dress making. In last night's episode, drawn to my attention by my wifem they had a competition to make kilts - male or female. Some useful ideas - and some pretty awful ones too.

not my usual viewing either but watched this episode last night only because of the kilt challenge (and the fact that there was nowt else on worth watching) ... i have to say that the winning kilt was bloody good and very well made for an amateur ... if only i could make something that good
