Hello from Milton Keynes

Hi there
I am a straight man aged 22 with a girlfriend who shares my flat in Milton Keynes. Ive been wearing a skirt indoors for a while and have recently bought a sarong. With a touch of brovado I wore the sarong at the beach when holidaying in Cyprus. That was just great. My jeans wearing G/F thinks Im weird but doesn't try and stop me.

I found this site this year and am very encouraged. I think I need to buy a denim skirt before I venture out. I just love wearing skirts.

Hi. Welcome aboard. I'm just down the A421 in Cambridge, so I'll be sure to wave at you when I'm dragged to IKEA next...

Paul.

We have a member, Since1982, who chose his screen name because
1982 is the year he started full-time wearing skirts and sarongs.

Out of curiosity, how did you choose your screen name :?:

Im not very good at thinking up memorable names and since I was born in 1988 I chose that one. The american member with a similar name is very knowledgable so it was also a kind of homage to an elder of the skirt fraternity. 8)

PS I love poodles but cant keep them as Im in a flat so I have my picture instead.

The clue is in the name of the thread. Milton Keynes isn't the name of the poster, it's the name of a town in England that is famous, mostly, for its roundabouts. The OP lives there.

Don't worry about it, Skirthead, I don't think Ethel was trying to embarrass you when he said that, probably just not thinking how it would be percieved. :D :D :D I actually thought Milton Keynes was a person too, until I looked it up online. :D :D It's probably named after a person with that name. :D :D

Milton Keynes... ...a town in England that is famous, mostly, for its roundabouts.
You forgot the concrete cows... :D

The Wikipedia entry for Milton Keynes includes a photograph of the concrete cows, just scroll down to the heading "Public sculpture".

Have fun,

Ian.

Hi erm, Since,

(Thinks; this could get confusing!).
Welcome to the cafe!
It's a while since I have been to Milton Keynes, it's a bit far from the Scottish Wet coast (dry but gray just now). When I think of MK, I think of flatness and roundabouts, very different to here.
I've been building quite a collection of denim skirts, two arrived yesterday from Midas clothing, I asked them to make me a couple of their cargo skirts but make them longer. one is calf length and the other is below ankle length, for me that is most lengths catered for now, from above knees to long enough to hopefully stop midges getting my legs. :D
