First of all, there are several one piece garment type, such as:
1. shirt + pants/trousers = Jumpsuit, unitard
2. Shirt + briefs/panties look-likes = Leotard
3. Shirt + long unbifurcated = Caftan, Tunic, Nightshirt
4. Shirt + Skirt = Dress [ In Dictionary: A one-piece outer garment for women or girls] ??
If we look the Roman Soldier uniform (exclude armor etc) or ancient Greek garment or in Tintin comic book: "Prisoner of The Sun" about ancient Maya, all men wore one piece which it looks like a long sized T-Shirt.
After utilikilt or other skirt for men, I am waiting & hoping if three are 'one-piece' available in store or on-line thus it should be designed to fit with male anatomy. Yes, we can buy 'one-piece' for women but the problem is in torso size. It is too small if men wear it. If we buy the bigger one,..so...the hip size will be too loose for male shape.
At this time, I found only nightshirt is available for men but due to material & design is good for sleep or at home only.
In addition, I found and bought a long polo shirt for women (at POLO store). It is quite comfortable for daily activities.

I have several unbifurcated 'one-pieces' (numbers 3 and 4 in your list). The 3's, let's call them tunics, are mostly Eastern (Arabic, Indian) garments I've bought over the years, regardless of what sex they were originally intended to, while my number 4's, dresses or "long T-shirts", I've sewn myself, so they aren't available in any stores. I'm often asked though, "where did you get that?". I can respond to you the same way: "nowhere: I made it myself. Want me to make one for you?" (I should post a picture, I guess)

Yes, another problem is that the garment might fit, except for looking ridiculously loose in the chest. Or the neckline might be designed in order to accentuate what we don't have. In my opinion, looking good in tops originally designed for women (and that includes one-piece garments) is much harder than looking good in skirts.
I think there are a lot of great possibilities for one-piece garments for men --- jumpers, dresses, etc. And some of our members have pulled off some stunning looks in dresses. But I think that more often than not, if we really want to do this, we'll have to get it custom made.
Off-the-shelf stuff made for pre-pubescent girls could work --- at least it has the right general body shape. Only problem is the whole thing is too small. WAY too small...

The prices at Garb The World really impresssed me. A long kilt for $45. All sorts of other tings under the $50 mark. Has anyone bought from them?
What kind of quality?
Or is it all just for stage plays!

Nice, but the manufacturers missed something...The time period when that came from didn't have nylon core rope. Just hemp..

Well as far as I am concerned I consider catsuits or unitards to be all in one every thing. They combine, shirt, pants, outerwear, underwear, and some even have socks. I have several of these and love them.
As far as dresses looking ridiculous in the chest area for accentuating what we men don't have. There is the option of fitting the garment for your build (like I did with the Chenongsam) When I first got it, it had darts and patterns for breasts, and hips. I and my roommate removed those and fitted it to fit me. The result, a stunning outfit for a male.
Remember all items of clothing started out as flat sheets of fabric, and can be returned to such, so every thing can be changed to fit different body types

Oh heck: Victoria Hill make these dresses without "tits" and are perfect for men with only a few superficial alterations:

Oh my Gosh, Jack! Those look sooo cool! I was thinking about making a garment just like the first one, only that in a lighter color. Spring is just around the corner (although we had a mild winter, so I kept several of my summer skirts out ). I'll post it once I'm done. It's actually easier to draw a pattern for a male "dress" that a female one: you don't have to mind about bust darts (you can add front and back tucks only if you want a more slender fit around the waist... or you can simply wear a belt, like you're doing in that pic!)
Take care!
