Seen the link, and it seems to be the answer to all problems. Is an Ideal unisex bag. Practical for all.
If the quality is ok, then this might be the bag to buy.

Thanks for the kind words. I do as best I can. As for the bag, I found it to have been highly functional and good looking as well. I see myself getting a lot of mileage from this purchase.

I was in Buckle the other day and they had a purse clearly displayed on one of the models (mannequins).. It was a green camo looking thing that looked like it had been through a couple wars.

I use a "manbag", I see its use as on of the smartest things that I have done. Getting the big thick wallet out of my hip pocket, the hands full of change and everything else that I can stuff into the rest of my pockets has made life more enjoyable. Also not to forget, the need to wear a belt to help keep my pants from falling down! When its time to go out everything is in my hand bag, just grab and go!

That's definitely one thing I don't miss. HAVING to wear a belt to keep my pants up. nearly all my skirts have smooth fronts and elastic waists halfway around me in the rear, only my full, circle or peasant skirts have elastic all the way around. I have 2 skirts with belt loops and a belt that is that wide, but I seldom ever wear them. I also use a "manbag" for all my "stuff".

I find I need to use a belt no matter what I am wearing, apart from nightshirts!
This is getting to be a problem as I work my way through another 3 month course stuck in a hotel. My favourite skirt is now too tight and the belt for my kilt is VERY tight, but if I didn't use the belt the straps on the kilt would give up very rapidly. Damn this good food!

If you have a bike handy, feel free to do what I'm doing. Don a knee-length skirt, and start doing skirted cycling... If not, keep your eyes peeled on the local Craigslist for a decent condition bike, and grab it. Within a month or so, your clothing should begin fitting properly again.

B&B, you gotta stop using that "SHRINKRITE" in the wash, that stuff shrinks skirts more than any other washable. On 2nd thought, maybe you should drink some "SHRINKRITE"..

Ah! Thats what SHRINKRITE is, it must be a US of A thing, never heard of it over here in the U of K. Now if I fitted my washing machine I could give myself a boil wash to shrink myself that way. Unfortunately the washing machine is 500 miles away, along with the other larger skirts, including the massive denim one which would fit an elephant, if that ever fits me properly my weight would be causing earthquakes!.

It's not the handbag, it's all the stuff we take / have to have with us that is the factor.
Having a good / suitable bag is then really satisfying, especially as said, it takes all the load off the skirt, and even can delete the need for skirt pockets all together.

Hi PeterV,

I could not agree more on maintaining the proper level of security of my handbag, It has a long enough shoulder strap to go over the across the chest to the hip so for someone to snatch it from me they would have to rip it off of me. It looks like a messenger bag, with a big front flap. Very nice bag, very masculine.
