I have a question about skirt wearing in London.
Going for an extended holiday late April early May this year, with my wife,
Background:
I have been enjoying skirts for many years, my wife does not approve "It embarrasses her to be seen with me"
But we still do many things together with me in skirts.
We have traveled around the US, me exclusively in a skirt,
I plan to bring skirts and pants on the trip, but prefer to avoid the pants.
All are above the knee, I have few skirts below the knee.
Are there any places I should not go in a skirt?
I have read that some cathedrals and churches have dress codes "knees covered, no shorts"
Are there restaurants with dress codes that won't let me in wearing a skirt.

Thanks for any advice

Ken I don't think you need to worry about London. London is very diverse and you will see lots of people in various outfits.
Your wife might say they are few and far between and she is right but they are there and nobody is going to say anything derogatory about your clothes. If anything you will get a few complements.
If you intended to visit St Paul's Cathedral you would dress modestly (goes without saying) but that can include a skirt if you wanted. Otherwise wear whatever takes your fancy and enjoy your trip.

If you look at my pics and looks, Mouse at work and play... area viewtopic.php?p=256986#p256986 you will see a MIS working and playing in London from my working attire to full latex outfit with 7 inch boots.

Just be confident and you should be fine with standard skirts.

If you want to meet up while you are over, we would love to buy you and your partner a beer and maybe share a meal together.
Daily, a happy man in a skirt...

Thanks for the invite, not sure if my wife will join us, but would definitely enjoy meeting you over a pint.
