We had 300+ in a town of 7800 so that was nearly 4%. I was very tempted to skirt up, or at least kilt up, for it, but opted for shorts. There was plenty of hostility and accusations of mental illness directed at the gathering, I didn't want to give them something to focus on.

And to add to the top level topic, was wearing my favorite black cotton skirt to grab the mail up at the street and there was a letter in there intended for my next door neighbor...out here in the country that's a good 3-4 minute walk  and I was already up at the street so I walked it over to her mail box. Another neighbor who is usually not that friendly was pulling out of their driveway and saw me do this and waved and smiled as they drove past. So that was nice!

Actually, the only rally/protest that does any real good occurs in early November of even numbered years.

Had a good day in Whitby today - skirted of course. Full length, pleated and subtley flowery. :)
Is this the right place to post that?

Spent a lovely couple of hours in the sunshine with a cooling breeze blowing at a local National Trust property today. Different skirt from the Whitby one two days ago but the description fits well. After decades of fear and anxiety I am conquering my ghosts at last. - and this forum is being a significant help - thank you!

Had an extremely warm April Day here in Ontario Canada yesterday. 15 degrees Celsius. That is 60F for our American friends. Was out for a hours walk through town in my Gunn kilt then spent time with the neighbours around a fire on the beach wearing a mid-thigh blue A line skirt. It was a wonderful day to be out and about skirting.
