Will soon be going public

Mom talked to me some more tonight after she calmed down and thought about it some more, but she is still very much against the idea of me wearing skirts until we are in heaven and wearing the standard robes:mad:

But..... I have a good friend whom I just this morning found out has a utilikilt and is into wearing it, and he helped me to come to the conclusion that it is her problem, not mine, and that I of coarse am a grown man capable of making my own decisions, and I can dress how I want. But as far as church goes, aparently if I plan to live any longer I better not dare atempt that one again.

My mother apparently still feels very strongly that I should not wear skirts at ANYTIME! And judging by the reaction I got today, I guess I better be very careful when and where I do it.

And get this!!! During our discussion today I said something about it being perfectly normal in other countries and cultures for men to where skirt like clothing. You know what she said? "Well other cultures are rapidly changing to be more like the united states, so pretty soon they will be wearing pants too" I was like holy crap you did not just say that!!!!

I feel pretty safe saying this from 10,000 miles away -

Dasani's mother (and probably his sister, as well..), isn't just a neurotic ***** and a stupid cow, but is also an ignoramus (I would suggest here that 70 - 80 % of the world ISN'T becoming like the US each day ...) and a moronic and stupid fruitcake ("standard robes"?! what planet is she really on?).
:tomato:

If he really wants to stir his mother and sister up, he should suggest to them that he is considering converting to Catholicism, Judaism, or even Islam; and then even maybe emigrating to somewhere nicer, and much more friendly - like New Zealand, Brazil or Croatia.

Having had two bottles of wine tonight I apologize in advance for anything which some might consider offensive:
In your shoes I would be tempted to tell your mother to take a running jump; throughout history and in large bits of this planet trousers are abnormal, as in her diety's day, a lump of cloth wrapped round the nethers was the norm.
Wear what you want, if they are worthy they will come to accept your clothes, if they can't accept your clothing, then they just aren't worth worrying about. You aren't indecent, you aren't doing anything like nudity or whatever (who some would think was indecent), if they can't cope with that then they aren't intelligent enough to worry about. Just wear what you feel is right and feel secure in the fact that anyone picking fault with it is just blinkered/shortsighted/retarded or not worthy of any consideration. I know it's not that easy, otherwise I would skirt more often myself, but I have no time for the blinkered attitudes of so called 'christians' or 'conservatives' as in American 'against just about everything' type people. By this I mean people intent on inflicting their small minded beliefs on others, including American 'conservatives', [ I have edited myself before getting worked up about all religious fundamentalists, much though I would love to have a go! ]
I am the God of Hellfire! and I bring you truffles!

Ummm, your mum does seem a little out of touch. Personally, I'm happy with my English way of life and have no desire to become American-like. There are aspects of American life that I enjoy, such as contra dancing and Tom & Jerry. I don't eat Macdonalds, they don't fill me up, and I don't care if I drink Coca Cola or Pepsi - as long as its brown and fizzy I'm happy.

I think Dasani got preached out of skirting, with his mom thinking the whole world will be wearing tr*users and his dad being the preacher of the local Mormon church. :(
I had to remove this signature as it was being used on Twitter. This is my OPINION, you NEEDN'T AGREE.
