Very colourful. if you lived in a rural ( country ) area it might be worn by a man, although this would take some courage. But then again, If It is YOU, then by all means, that is what fashion FREEDOM for all, men included! Is all about.

IF WE REALLY LEARN HOW TO REALY LISTEN TO OUR INNER FEELINGS, then we might just realise that we do actually like such if not exactly that sort of skirts. There is always ( with me at least ) some hesitance to wear expressional clothing. That is still lingering in my head from before I started listening to MY feelings and began to wear skirts. As a man wearing such skirts you will stand out, but then again, if done with taste, then it will just show that you like what I would call Country hippy style clothing.

I like these sort of skirts in their own perspective. Giving me the feeling that someone has put something od themself, their "love"and their expression into it, having made it themselves, which gives me a very pleasant feeling of emotion in my stomach. ( no erotic feeling ) just If I think about it, a feeling of personal energy, just like many hand made articles. Maybe fond memories of the 70's , the feling that many people had then, of being able to express themselves. Something which today seems to have to be rediscovered and nurtured. Even while writing this, I begin to feel like I am "looking through pink glasses."

By the way, I have just bought a nice bright red roll neck jumper the colour of the jumper in the picture, from Benneton.

A man is the same man in a pair of pants or a skirt. It is only the way people look at him that makes the difference.

Although I like the construction of the skirt, the colors are a bit too flambuoyant for my modest taste.

Looks like a hobby craft project. For those of us in the uk old enough it looks like something Felicity Kendal might have worn for the Good Life.
I want to wear skirts without judgment just as women can wear trousers.

Yes I agree, and we are not used to such skirts much any more, which is a pitty, no matter who wears them, male or female, as they were always present, somewhere, because of neccessity, fianancially, for taste choice, or just because some liked the free style, gypsy maybee, but it is a free, hand made personal thing, which in that way attracts me.

People in the "class"of the good life, when recognised as such, can get away with wearing such clothing, it fitting their life style.

I actually miss that period, when it was normal practice that people made choices to live that way, or that it was the only way to survive, but was a respected way of living ( by me at least).

We seem to go further away from making clothing for ourselves, brings creativeness in clothing to a halt, all the time, and accepting clothing that others have thought out. This makes it more and more impersonal, and is a tendancy I think does us no good.

Ahhhhh! Felicity Kendal! <MegaSwoon>
... and when she appeared co-starring with Jane Asher in 'The Mistress' that was a double helping of Heaven on Earth :)
