Verbal harasment is not too bad, but those who do that may be prepared to go further. Let's not hope that we get stories of fysical harasment or worse, just because wearing a skirt triggered negative attention from scumbags.
We are just as other citizens, but do stand out a little more than others, if one looks for differences, and we must not be frightened but normaly aware of our situation on the street.
My mother said to me today, "there have been some hand bag thefts with random sensless stabbing by juveniles in our town the past week, so be extra careful, you being in a skirt." And you realise again that although the attacks seem to be random, anybody different can be targetted.
