Spammers sign up all the time. But they can't post until I validate them. And I don't do that, I delete them instead. So at this point we have no chane of being overrun by spam.

I just tweaked the forum to cut down on spam registrations. I was getting about 2 dozen spam registrations a day, and only maybe one real registration every two days. This was the case with the old and new systems.
