Those are nice boots, looks like about 3" heel. What brand are they? I can't believe you wear those daily! My feet would kill me. Do you wear them to work as well? If you don't mind me asking, are you male or female?

Hi Aaron,
Thank you for the nice compliment on the boots. They are 3 1/2" heels and are branded "Naturalizer." I purchased them from an Ebay Auction. I've been wearing heels for a lot of years and am very comfortable in them. My feet actually hurts a lot if I have to wear a pair of flats or trainers. I'm very comfortable in heels and can wear them all day or around the clock if need be. BTW I am male and wear heels with male clothes. I've never had a negative comment but have had a few stares. Most of the ladies think it is cool. Most folks could care less. I've had a thing for heels since childhood and just decided to wear what makes me comfortable. and it's for sure there are many more choices in styles and colors in women's shoes and boots. I started using the user name "Shiela Ann" because I didn't know how a man in heels would be accepted and just kept using it. Actually it is the name of a girlfriend i once had. Here is a photo of some of the other heels that I wear. Good to hear from you.

Thanks Matt.
Here is a photo of another pair of boots that I really like to wear. The heel on them measures 3 3/4" with a 3/4" platform. They're very comfortable.

Hi Sheila Ann,
I love those black 3 1/2 inch heels, who's the maker?

I too find heels comfortable to wear, as well as pleasing. Since I also suffer with lower back problems as a consequence of a tilted pelvis, alternating flats with a heeled shoe offers some relief from the discomfort, which tends to surprise people who associate the wearing of heels with causing back and hip problems. If I wore heels all the time I suspect I probably would be worse off in that regard. But hey, whatever gets you through the day/week/month/year/lifetime is just fine by me!

Matt, any news on the shoes? We're coming up on 2 months now?

All best wishes,
Ash

Shiela Ann,

Wow, looks like you have no trouble with acceptance as a man wearing heels obviously so I wouldn't worry about the name! I like those black 3 1/2" heels they remind me of the shoes that men wore in the 1700s. All you need is a powdered wig! LOL They are very nice looking and I commend you for wearing them and showing support for the rest of us. I have just recently found the courage to do so myself but I still wear pants that cover the heel. I have a pair of 2 1/2" pointed toe black boots that go up to the calf, a pair of 2 1/2" tan Clarks boots with a cool pattern sewn on them, a pair of calf length Clarks boots that look like loafers on bottom with 2" heel and just recently added a pair of Aerosoles wedges 3 1/2" in black and a pair of 2" Ecco sandal heels. My feet do start hurting after a while with some of them but I think the problem might be attributed to weight. I am overweight, weigh 215lb and probably should weigh about 185 or 190. Once I take care of that problem should be OK. Here are some links to some of the shoes I have:

Well couldn't find anymore, maybe just have to post pictures of them on me, LOL

Hi Aaron,
Sounds like a wonderful collection of boots and shoes that you have. I certainly look forward to seeing some photos of you wearing them. Theres not a darn thing wrong with a man wearing heels if he so desires. It would be nice if more men would get out in their heels. Judging from the forums and groups here on the web there are a lot of guys that would like to. Many do but most are afraid. Maybe soon more of them will get the courage to come on and "Just do it." Attached is a photo of some boots that I have worn out a few times. They are a little high for extended wear. I've worn them for over 6 hours without too much hurt. The toes are very pointed and I guess I should have got them in a 1/2 size larger than they are. I do love to wear them. Look forward to seeing some of yours.

Hello again Shiela Ann,

Those are very nice boots you have but a little high for me!! My hat is off to you though for wearing them. I might try to get some photos but don't know. Neither my wife nor I are real big on photos anymore. Seems all we do is take them, store them and never look at them again. I may do it though we will see. Yes it will be nice when more men start excersizing their already God given freedom to wear what they want. We may never get to wear what we want in the work place but I feel if all would wear what they want on their own time it may well spill into the workplace. I have been enjoying the discussions on the high heel page (http://www.hhplace.org) about attaining freedom. They don't realize they already have the freedom!

OK! Now just got to find a place/time to make a confidence-building appearance! Thinking of a distant up-scale mall that's been a non-event so far with my kilts and Cityskirt with blue tights... :shifty:

I suspect that particular shade is not available any longer due to EPA restrictions on the power source required to make it so vibrant. If that amount of fissile material were to fall into the wrong hands....

Sorry, Binx, but my eyes still burn from that hat image the other day. :) Infamous, indeed.

Tights would be too hot in this weather! Ok, I blew away that post with the hat. It goes better with my light denim Cityskirt Tenino anyway. Maybe I should get a pair of MJB's shoes to complete the collection....
