Re: interesting interaction
Thank you, Susie.
Part of my motivation in skirt-wearing is to battle sexism, which I believe hurts all of us, but statistically,y women have suffered from more than men.
We here need to listen to your viewpoint.

Excuse me? Did i say something which should be withdrawn? Perhaps you would like to be more precise.Susie wrote: ↑Wed Apr 23, 2025 5:53 am Excuse me????
Firstly, you are lumping women into a homogenous group (again).
Secondly, if you are going to do that, then consider ALL the women on this piece of rock we call home, not just the ones in your circle (whether that be on line or real life).
Maybe women are not 'belittled' - but they are killed, raped etc etc for daring to challenge their particular society norms.
I'm not denying the issues members face but the grass isn't greener on our side of the fence - it's different and if you've got a Y chromosome, you have no idea what it is like to br brought up as female or the challenges and precautions we take every single day to stay alive.
.
Second I am not lumping women into one homogenous lump. I'm looking for answers where viable answers are not forth coming.
Far more men are killed than women, that's an unarguable fact. Men have their own challenges. Women are not alone in facing societial challenges.

Excuse You. For my sins I am BM's wife and therefore very much in his social circle. I can tell you now that I don't feel that men are inferior if they show their feminine side.Susie wrote: ↑Wed Apr 23, 2025 5:53 am Excuse me????

As I have told BM I think Freud has largely been not exactly discredited in that regard but at least I don't think that view is subscribed to anymore. I do think that feminity is seen as weak and masculinity as more desired.
I have no idea what it is like to be brought up as male. Males in abject poverty also struggle to stay alive. Male suicide rates are higher by a considerable margin, men kill more men than they do women. Are we competing over who is worse off here? I hope not.
On a side note I saw a man in a skirt on my way home yesterday but he was walking way too fast so I couldn't tell him that he looked good. But I thought it.
