Al, you can get seamless tights. They are not cheap but they fit well be are very comfortable. Heist, Wolford and (I think) Hedoine all do tights without seams.

Like Mouse, I’m an advocate of wearing something under my tights. Hygiene and comfort. And, with a skirt, modesty.

A few points to consider about 'tights'.

Some tights have a "U" panel in the front. If you can find tights
with that type of panel, you'll be much more comfortable.

I used to get tights from www.activskin.com, formerly Comfilon.
The owner was helpful and used a few of my 'suggestions' in the
designs. They were VERY comfortable, especially the no-fly ones :D
( After 5 minutes, you felt like you're not wearing anything )
Now, I have to wear compression hose - which Activskin/Comfilon
doesn't make in the strength, nor the opacity, I need :(

Al, I remember Comfilon. I was an enthusiastic early adopter of them. Steve Lieberman? He was very helpful.

I've never, NEVER found P-hose/tights without a center-front seam.
If they have an 'expansion panel' in the back, no designed in foot/heel combo,

I have ordered many pairs from this place. They have a gusset in the front.
