Re: Camouflage skirt
I found 2 skirts in one. I was looking for a camo skirt and a cargo skirt. I found a size 10, belted camo/cargo skirt at Goodwill. I will post a photo as soon as I figure out the camera on a new phone.

Re: Camouflage skirt
I have a Columbia camo skirt too. Probably the same one. It is a bit short, but where I would a camo skirt, probably wouldn't be doing much sitting.Pdxfashionpioneer wrote:My camouflage skirt came from Columbia Sportswear. When purchased it cracked me up that my first piece of camo clothing was a skirt!
It comes down to just above my knees and is cut like a denim skirt, complete with belt loops, a fly and 5 pockets.
As far as the concerns about being able to sit in short skirts go, do as the ladies do: cross legs or at least your ankles or simply keep your knees together. It's really not that tough.

Re: Camouflage skirt
I quite like camo mini skirts, maybe because the combination seems so incongruous. (posted one in denimini pics)
Would need plenty of camo face paint on the legs ...... but that might solve the sitting problem.
Sorry, I can't help myself ............... for dancing in hostile areas:

The Bayou skirt I'm wearing is from Cabela's. Size 18.

I could use it an inch longer, as I'm looking for knee length, not mini.
It's durable and practical and comfortable. I wear it most of the time, in
preference to my solid color skirts.

Re: Camouflage skirt
I bought one too, and it just arrived today, and I agree it's great. Tough comfortable fabric, truly usable pockets, wide belt loops, and the camo pattern is anything but feminine. I hope it comes in more colors.Bertino56 wrote:The Bayou skirt I'm wearing is from Cabela's. Size 18.

I'M having one hell of a time using my phone to get a photo of this camo/cargo skirt. I hope this works. I found this skirt at Goodwill. Brand is Faded Glory, size 10, and 24 inch length.

You did well with the cell phone photo and the skirt selection !rick401r wrote:I'M having one hell of a time using my phone to get a photo of this camo/cargo skirt. I hope this works. I found this skirt at Goodwill. Brand is Faded Glory, size 10, and 24 inch length.
I like the camo - grey over other camo colors brown or green.
The skirt looks like it has cargo pockets just up off the hem -
the waist portion is covered can't tell if it is pull on with elastic
waist or other fastening (zipper) ?
Lucky you to find clothing in Just Your Size !
FYI - - -
The Faded Glory is trade name for denim clothing under Wal*Mart's label.
The difference in prices during sales is not that much different between
Wal*Mart and GW.
Goodwill used to have rock bottom prices but that is not longer the case.
Take a look at Wal*Mart's clothing and watch for roll back sales especially
at or near the season end !
"YES SKIRTING MATTERS"!
"Kilt-On" -or- as the case may be "Skirt-On" !
WHY ?
Isn't wearing a kilt enough?
Well a skirt will do in a pinch!
Make mine short and don't you dare think of pinching there !
